About Simple Home Controller
Supported controller: Universal Devices ISY994i. It does not work with any other controller. I am willing to consider supporting any controller that has a REST API interface. Manufacturers can contact me via email.
Supported Android versions: Ice Cream Sandwich through Marshmallow.
Recommended screen size: 4" or larger.
If you have a problem getting Simple Home Controller working, please don't give it a bad review! Please contact me so I can fix the problem. I am not a big company - I'm just a guy in his basement and this is my first Android app. My testing is limited to my own phones so it's possible something might not work right on a different phone. So far I have tested on Samsung Galaxy Note 3 with KitKat and Nexus 6 & 7 with Lollipop & Marshmallow.
I am adding enhancements periodically, especially to support more devices. If you have a device that is not yet supported or not working as expected, please contact me.

Welcome to Simple Home Controller, the simple mobile and tablet interface to your Insteon and Z-Wave devices with an ISY994i controller. Simple Home Controller allows you to turn on/off and dim/brighten your devices and scenes. It also allows you to run programs and change thermostat settings. It is not intended as a replacement for more advanced programs. Simple Home Controller is not configurable beyond the connection settings and font size - it relies on the configuration of your hardware. Folders, devices, and scenes will appear exactly as listed in your hardware configuration, except that the folder structure will be "flattened" to reduce the number of clicks to get to your devices. This means if you have nested folders on your controller, only the folders containing modules/scenes will be listed. The otherwise empty parent folders will not appear. By default I have left out the ISY group (which contains every module) and the Auto DR group (which is reserved by Universal Devices for meter interfacing). Simple Home Controller does not write to your controller hardware. It cannot mess-up your programming.

Great App, works flawlessly, BUT, the best part is its developer, I had a problem with a new device, emailed him, received a response within hours, and an update was released the.next day. You dont receive this high quality service even from the big companies with +$20 App, and monthly subscription. I just hope he can create a Gui, and i am sure he will have no competition.

This is a GREAT simple app for controlling your ISY. While not full of colors and icons like some of the fancier and MUCH more expensive ones, it DOES THE JOB! It loads fast and works very well. Also, the creator is VERY responsive. I had a minor issue and HE CALLED ME and we quickly fixed the problem. Also, I needed status of I/O linc sensors and in a couple of days, he added that capability. I've NEVER had support like that. Great job and very nice (little) app! Steve

Works great and if any feature does not function or you have suggestions the developer is quick to respond and release an updated version.

The app works fine but what blew me away was the developer. I had a small issue getting my router to communicate with the app. He called me at my office to help! You can't beat that kind of service.

I've upped my rating based on the updated version. Several features were added. The developer listens to his clients and is very responsive. This program is simple, small and faster than others like it. Keep up the good work.
