I absolutely LOVE this program!!! I run 3 seperate businesses, with 3 sepearte inventory lines, and this is by far and away the BEST program I've found to both take on-the-spot inventory checks (Mono line) & record the addition/removal of inventory (Muli line). Using the email freature, I am then able to send myself the entries in an easy Excel template, which I can then put into my Quickbooks records. The ability to add photos of each item to the records is EXTREMELY helpful too. This is something that I have been looking for a Very, Very long time and I am so glad that Ifinally found a program that does what I need! I was so impressed that I bought the full version and it is the BEST app purchase I have ever made! It does take a little effort & training to use, but that is only because it is so robust & customizable. I would rather spend a little time learning a program that does what I want, than settle for something less. Plus, they have a Contact Us form that you can ask any questions you may have.

This app works great. I can scan any barcode I need too, I can make multiple inventory lists by location, and the WIFI Scan to excel works great, it saves a lot of time and work. This app is worth much more than it costs for the paid version. The technical support I have received has been very prompt and very well understandable and easy to apply.

Why does it change the output file every single time I go to upload? I added a whole bunch of new columns but when I did the upload to Google Drive it defaulted to the basic output file. I've also had nothing but problems with the scanner scanning things that I'm not even pointing at. The interface is not user friendly. Instructions are not easy to understand. I've had nothing but problems with this app which worked fine until I needed to customize the output file. Now I'm out $1.99. Do yourself a favor and find something that's a bit more user friendly and intuitive. I'm not sure what apps these other people are using but it isn't Xscanpet.

Really liking it! It does its job well! However, I have a question: when I send my spreadsheet to my boss it ends up putting everything in the same cell. How can I fix this? Thank you very much for the app and for taking the time to read this! :D

I have bought the paid version of this app and it's pretty good except it does not have the option to specify the barcode type and number of expected digits so if it misses a bit, it still accepts that as a valid barcode. I will likely increase my rating if this is fixed. Please fix this issue, thanks.

Can do a lot more than what I needed. I used it for a simple product bar code scan and to email the spreadsheet to myself. It worked flawlessly. Tip: Turning the flashlight on makes scanning a lot easier.

An useful application - probably the best of its category. Free version doesn’t require a subscription, creating an account or any kind of payment in order to test its full features. It is highly customizable, it has a clean and logical interface and most important, it is very stable. A great application, which definitely worth the money you pay for it.

Review Update After One Year Of Use: I implemented XscanPet into our company as a trial on stock control. Using tablets, Bluetooth scanners and a simple labeling system it is now a necessity across all three SEPARATE locations involving £70,000+ of stock. Coupled with DropSync and DropBox they all update each other minute to minute. With desktop shortcuts to the shared file in DropBox the office and sales managers have access to an immediate and accurate stock list. Needless to say, i can't praise it enough

It used to work great. But after the most recent update, I cannot get the photos to work probably anymore. No matter what I've tried, I cannot get the app to save the filename of the photo to a column. I can add an extra column to include a photo but just cannot get it to include the filename of the photo to any columns. I horribly regret paying money for this app. It's terribly unintuitive to begin with in the first place. Now that they ruined the photo function, it's totally worthless for me. AVOID AT ALL

I thought this app would help me make an inventory for insurance purpose via finding the items online and listing them in my Dropbox, unfortunately it doesn't, it also doesn't save what I type in for the item, waste of money.

I used it for tracking our small postal office it gets the job done scanning usps barcodes and saving it into excel. My only suggestion can you guys add the option to add directly to the excel list with in the app itself. But so far this app has been amazing!

I think your app is the best out there in terms of software and its really what i needed for auditing work. But I have one major problem with it. You see, I use otg wire and use a handheld usb barcode scanner to count inventories, but I noticed that when I scan too fast, it is not accurate in reading the barcodes and it misses the auto increment of the barcodes I am counting and that is a big problem for me since the output will in inaccurate and not suitable for auditing works. Please help

I use this to keep track pinball machines and arcade games that I own and that I've worked on for clients. The negative reviews are from people who obviously haven't tried the demo, or from competing application owners. This app does everything I need it to do and then some! I'd like to a new type of field that allows you to choose multiple items from a list. And a "new" option in the fields to add a list item right from the screen when entering new items.

It's great for adding information in, but once I send the file to Dropbox, I can't open it. I thought these should be excel documents, but I guess not. EDIT: Upgraded rating after figuring out how to open files.

...but you MUST take time to learn and configure settings to get the results required. I almost gave up on it, as I wanted a resulting Excel file containing only changes to inventory, e.g. stock-taking, and purchase ordering from 3500+ stock items. After contacting the author and receiving a reply within 3hrs on a Sunday evening, my problem was solved within minutes, after correctly configuring. Now I can use with Quickbooks. Slight remaining problem is the delay between scans due to a large inventory.
