MathPapa - Algebra Calculator

The versatility of this app is just amazing. Whether you're doing a refresher course or just needing it for some simple equations this is the app for you. It gives step by step instructions on how the problems are solved that are nice and clear. The only issue I have with it is that is very linear as to which side of the = sign things are going to go. So you wind up with odd answers like -8a+c or whatnot on one side when negatives like that could be avoided and written a bit simpler.

This app is very simple, yet extremely powerful. This app has helped me tremendously in learning algebra with step by step instructions. I rarely take time to review an app but this application is difenetly worth a 5 star review. The only thing that could be added, is a button allowing you to add more letters than just x, y, and z.

incredible app. saved me countless tears on algebra assignments. isn't PERFECT (some equations don't show enough steps, and it can be hard to format it) but overall I'm keeping it at five stars because it's absolutely the best calculator I've ever seen and it's insanely helpful. AND ITS FREE

Best fricking calculator to learn graphing hands down. It's like your own personal tutor. I only wish that in addition it would show you how to solve via the addition method as well. Furthermore, rotation doesn't seem to work with this calculator so longer equations get cut off on the side of my screen, something I hope you guys fix.

It is very hard to move back through an equation if you make a mistake. For instance, if you type the wrong number somewhere in the middle of an equation the fastest way to fix it is to backspace all the way back to correct your mistake. You can kinda, sorta move back through the equation by long tapping in the vicinity of the mistake, and if you're lucky you might highlight the portion of the equation you want to correct, but it's very inaccurate. Please allow tapping to move the cursor throughout the equation. You know, like how every other text editor works.

It is actually so useful to use. Its not too complicated not to simple to use. I love the fact that it explains how to answer the question instead of just giving you the answer. I am going to keep using this from now on to help study. You've done an absolutely awesome job and would like to thank the creators.

This app is soo amazing it really helps me on my math homework. So if you struggle With math homework, I recommend this. The best part is that it even shows the steps so it's like a big math note calculator, and for some questions it shows a graph for it.

I'm a math wizard, so it's not too often I need a calculator or assistance, but every now and then this calculator has helped me solve hard problems that I couldn't get. The reason I'm only giving 4/5, is because it looks older and outdated. A refreshed look would add a nice touch.

I now am not staying up super late with my Alg/Trig homework. It also shows work so I'm not nerfed on learning either. A must for online college math.

Great app. I wished you could edit the problem if it's not quite right. The only way is to back space the whole problem. Does it have symbols like pi or use two letters together? Like 2(4st - 6t)/4 -3=19

This app has help me tremendously, I am a college student (after) 20 years. So I was clueless.... Type in problem, you get the answer, but this app explains how to get the answer. Love it

Best algebra app hands down! Although it no longer has the square root function it is still immensely useful. Plus, i believe there's a glitch with exponents multiplying negative integers. Ex. -4 to the power of 2 = (16) NOT (-16)

Needs to include more steps. Some problems it solves and expects you to see how it was done w/o seeing which can be very confusing.

Though I wish I could go back and look at the problems I already put in, you see my history. And it would be helpful if the answers came in both fraction and decimal form all the time.

VERY HELPFUL I love it it is DA BOMB but the only problem is they don't support □ roots. They have the symbol but it don't work (trust me I've tried with 4)

What's the point in having a ./ squareroot symbol when it's always reported as invalid input? Also need to change ad server to get rid of nauseous flashing banners, or offer an ad-free version for a small sum.

How ever I can't get the root to work. Keeps say there is an error input. I do same with my calculator and it works. Am i doing something wrong?

I hope there is also a precalculus like parabola, piecewise function and many more. And I hope all math problems are here. So that I can easly do my homework perfectly

Overall good but it is not even programmed to use square root symbol. It does not know what square root symbol is. Fix that please

We have to acutally type sin or cos tan there is no button for the separately. That's function is very nesesscary for a maths problem solver. However this is the best algebra calculator I have ever used.

It is annoying that it will always try to do the problem with the substitution method, I would like it if you can add elimination method to, you also can't make anything negative like -4x or something like that. Other than these problems it is the best calculator I've ever seen.

This app is heaven sent! Not only does it give an answer it will show you the workout of the problem. Being a learning coach I don't remember how to do all the problems and this is a great help to refresh my memory as well as explain how to do the problems. Well worth the download.

This app is one of the few that actually seems to work. It has a problem solve ratio of 4/5. However it depends on how you insert the problem into the couculator.

If you r in algebra this will help u if u get stuck on something. It helps me out a lot. But i recomenr a blue tooth key bord so u can put down leters that are in equations. Hope u find it helpful.

This is my favorite calculator for checking algebra problems and other calculations. Can replace your pre-installed phone calculator because this app has all of those functions plus MUCH MORE!
