About Matthew Ashimolowo
Ashimolowo converted to Christianity from Islam at the age of 20 after the death of his Pastor Matthew is the President and Senior Pastor of Kingsway International Christian Centre, the largest church in Western Europe. Under his leadership KICC has developed a growing membership at its London headquarters and surrounding satellites churches of around 12,000 members, in the past 17 years.
An inspiring visionary, Pastor Matthew has launched the UK's first church-owned television channel, KICC TV, and his television and radio ministry Winning Ways is received by a potential audience of several hundred million people in Europe, Africa, Asia, the USA and the Caribbean.
Some 46 nationalities are represented in his congregation and his International Gathering of Champions is considered one of Europe's leading conferences.
Recently honoured as the most influential black person in the public sector/religion category by one of Britain's leading black newspapers, Pastor Matthew's influence on church growth and evangelism has been noted by local and international news media.
Pastor, teacher, evangelist and businessman, Matthew Ashimolowo has inspired countless souls with his passionate preaching of the living Word.
