Lord Venkateshwara is one of the most popular deity in India, specially the southern region. He is also known as Lord Balaji who is the central deity in the temple of Tirupati( in Indian state of Andhra Pradesh). The history of Tirupati narrates how Lord Balaji descended on this earth to answer the prayers of Padmavati, who was called Vedavati in her previous birth. As she was meditating to win the hands of Lord Vishnu in marriage, Ravan, the demon King of Ramayana approached her fascinated by her captivating beauty. What happens when he attempts to disturb her by catching the lock of her hair? The whole story revolves around many such incidents and events that are worth enhancing the knowledge about Indian mythology.
