Constantly updated which will log you out and then it sorta half forgets and half remembers you. I can't use it to order right now as it wants me to save a location but if I try it informs me I have already saved that location. Try a QA on your device team. Brutal.

Just tried the mobile order. The so app says "this offer expires in - 7 days.". Minus seven days. All star development at McDs. Remove the offer code. Now it says the McDonald's that I'm in front of and that is 24hr open is "closed". #alldevteamMcDs. The app will display error codes in "recents" if you customize your item by removing pickles or anything else from your item. The check-in gets screwed on occasion and I have to cancel and resubmit to correct the app. Overall a good concept but the software development is poor.

Fries would bounce at the least appropriate moment, just as I'm scanning a coupon in front of the cashier. Then, one day app started crashing on launch. Had to uninstall, then reinstall to fix it. Disappointing that the company wouldn't take mobile seriously enough given their size and resources.

Horrible app. Cannot remove credit card once entered. Process to order is a pain and flawed. Received a bill for a mobile order that I did not not. The bill had a blank where it should show the item ordered. So basically an order of NOTHING cost 8$. Contacted McDonald's support and they told me to dispute the charge with my credit card company which I did. App is a scam that is trigger happy on charging your credit card. Stay away.

The overall setup and use of the My McD's app was decent, but it seemed to go rogue and keeps running in the background even though there's no order in progress. In the 12 hours since my last full charge, it's been using GPS for 11 hours, 43 minutes. It's kept the system awake for a total just under two hours, and Android calculates it's used about 500mAh of battery. I submitted a report via the Usage Details screen and chose Force Close for now. No notifications were active and I'd closed the app out of my recents menu. I last used the app over 30 hours ago. I'll update this review if it seems to be a one-off issue.

I find it hard to believe that a company like McDonald's throws out such a piece of s###t. Faster to just go the the counter. Stopped accepting my credit card. I submitted 5 mobile orders, none of them went through. The parking stalls for mobile orders are always occupied by people dining in. Just cancel this whole thing all together. Can I have my paper coupons back, please?

This app is utter trash. Who's bottlenecking idea was to tie mobile orders to geo position? Mobile ordering only works well of the GPS is working correctly.

Cumbersome setup process... It took many tries for a credit card to be accepted. Having to be next to the restaurant to actually start processing the order kind of defeats the purpose of ordering ahead. Trying to order Happy Meal with Nuggets causes -1035 invalid product error even after a couple months and support tickets.

Still some annoying bugs, and I'd rather it used Google pay for transaction tracking purposes (7eleven does), and the app doesn't explain the limitations of breakfast items after 11am (I blamed the app until I read the fine print on a paper coupon). But I love having regularly offered digital coupons (too often paper ones are left in the car or at home) and the service efficiency is amazing. I've done a mobile order and payment after arriving to find a line of 10+ people and walked away with my order before the third person in line was served :)

Tried to make an online order but it kept erroring when adding my payment method. And yes it's a regular visa not a debit visa, yes my postal code was put in correctly and so was all my other information. Only thing I can think of is my last name has a hyphen in it. And a really hope that's not the reason it's giving an error with no description. Neat idea but it doesn't seem to work for me.

The app is Ok.. could be amazing if they put more effort into it. I find it so maddening that they will offer really good deals ( My favorite being 1$ Latte ANY SIZE) BUT you have to do it over mobile ordering. And if you don't have a credit card then you can't get it. You would think that they would offer visa debit or even their own gift cards! But nope. And they don't give out good deals like that when you scan it at the restaurant, just good deals for mobile ordering. I'll change my rating when it's fixed.

Stopped at account creation. Password limitations are not secure enough in my opinion (6-12, no special characters). Please get rid of these insane requirements (no max or at least triple, this isn't the 1980s - your database can handle it, include special characters)

Mobile ordering continues to be not usable due to credit card registration errors and support staff appear to not be interested in investigating. App is only good for free 8th coffee and passable offers for things I'd rarely consider. App is just a tease of a concept that people should expect by now.

PracticalLy useless. Handy to find near by stores but can only mobile order with a credit card. I will NOT be using a credit card for such a small purchase. If it would even take their gift card it might be useful

New update has many issues. Throws an error when trying to retrieve offers stating app is not registered within eCP: error 1037. Secondly it fails to add orders randomly with no feedback as to why it is failing. Thirdly in locations with all day breakfast, I can't order from breakfast menu because it says breakfast menu has a specific time schedule. If breakfast is served all day why is the menu time limited? Similarly I wonder if that means I can't order a burger at 4am because it's now breakfast menu time only? Had to wipe my cache to get the location to even find a nearby McDonald's, otherwise it would say no store nearby. But now it just never loads the menu, all I see is an animated loading icon and the menu never comes up. App can't even be used. This app is so bad, I'd give it -10 stars. It gives such a bad experience that even if you paid me to eat at McDonald's I wouldn't ever come back. Good job.

Pure garbage. Your order doesn't even get started until you "check in", by which I mean waiting in line, then telling the cashier your order number, watch them get totally confused and not be able to find your order, then just just telling them your order and pay for it there. This app is as pointless as a screen door in a submarine.

Slow, mobile order offer does not work, constantly asks you to log in every time. Now, it doesn't even work. The scan code is covered up if you try to scan at restaurant

The idea of mobile ordering is great. Still need lots of work implementing it for a better experience for consumers. I could not order curbside pick up since designated curbside spots were occupied by people NOT using curbside pick up. Shouldn't there be a way to keep these spots just for curbside pick up? I ended up using the app for pickup inside the restaurant. I placed an order and it took 25 minutes for it to be ready. Maybe making it 'easy' to order is one thing, but being able to meet the volume is another. I can see the benefits of using the 'drive thru' option in this app so I don't need to order verbally; I'd get my order quicker since it appears that drive thru customers get priority so as to keep cars moving. Ordering 'curbside' and 'pick up' gets last priority cause you're there waiting already. Also, the stats for how long it takes to get an order out are tainted. Staff marked my order as ready in 10 minutes in the system but I had to wait an extra 15 minutes after I went up to the counter. Again, great idea but the infrastructure is not ready. This review is not just about the app, but my overall experience

Tried to use it several times, app always times out and says "we're experiencing technical difficulties". Very disappointed in the shoddy quality from this company. Don't bother downloading, just order pizza instead.

Edit: curbside pickup options for mobile orders often (3+ times) take 5-10 minutes to show up, leaving you sitting at the curbside for a while, unsure if your order is being processed.

The app would really benefit if the perimeter that allows checking in was widened. There's a huge office tower and multiple apartments around and more people would use it

App isn't very intuitive. And just tried to scan for rewards when I purchased a breakfast meal with coffee but the drive thru employee said I couldn't because the coffee was part of the meal

Straight up garbage app. Doesn't recognize any of my emails, won't let me make a new account. I'll just save myself the frustration and order at the restaurant and still get my food moments later like we been doing forever. U'd think before McDs institute such a "feature-rich" app theyd have it bug-checked.
