The AndMeasure tool allows you to measure distances and calculate area between points on a map.
The tool has virtually unlimited applications. Use it PROFESSIONALLY for measuring distances and areas in landscaping, lawn care, water line measuring, paving and fencing. Use it in farming, agriculture and forestry to measure your fields and forests. Realtor's can use it for showing clients distances to certain landmarks.
For RECREATIONAL use, it can be used in measuring off-road routes, plotting running courses, water trips, range estimation at the shooting/driving range. Use it in Golf for getting real-time distance to the green.

Only suggestion from my use so far would be to offset the pin for example above your finger when moving pin around when creating area measuements, as it is difficult to place in correct area on map when finger is hiding the map detail.

Finally I have an app that can measure distance across the ocean. Great app for boating, I can measure the distance across the bay so I can calculate my fuel before I go fishing.

Map ruler is best take 5 star. But if am serching this18.970105 72.837768 latlong cordinate its showing whole area around this latlong loction. He is unable to give me a correct pointed location..need improvement. Also am unable to share my gps loction or map ruler via whtsapp or my messaging sms option. Plz add this basic functions for 5 star.

I have been using another app (bought) and this free one performs just as well and even better in some areas! I love the precision with which you can place markers, using the "Add" icon. It is been accurately tested to about 1.5% deviation from indicated distance which is very good! Keep it up. Perhaps the developer could consider reducing the physical size of the markers though.. they are huge!

Nice for quick, on the fly measurements. I wish it could track via GPS and automatically add points as you drive around a field. I would also like the option to export kml files. Overall, great for basic measures to get a rough idea of area and distance.
