Ask and prevent suicide /Update 1/27/2014 Thank you all that put this app together it is a true life savings for myself and some very grateful Survivors. Im very grateful there is info out there so that maybe we can get help to the ones that are suffering. Thanks Graham Steel Update cont. If you are in need of some information and you aren't sure what take it from a multiple Survivor yes you are reading this right, please download it if it is not you it maybe your best friend you never can tell who may be in the "Silent Cry" remember if you know of anyone making the tiniest mention of taking my life or in that area Check it out and don't space it out OK!!

A quick reference app. It has the national hotline number, but only numbers for Texas. I'm guessing it was put out for Texas residents, but it would be cool to have more numbers. In crisis situations the couple seconds can really make a difference. I find it useful to have a reference card with these sorts of numbers in my wallet. If you feel you are at risk for suicide or suicidal thoughts, go to the er asap (do it in the safest way possible). If it isn't that serious, write down your concerns and call a nurse line at the closest hospital, they may still be able to advise you on what's best considering your symptoms. It's wise to seek help before it's an emergency.
