I use this app for my daily operations. I need this app to work. This app has in fact, restarted my phone 3 times, froze it to force me to hard restart it 2 times, and has crashed absolutely every time I attempt to enter any thing in a cell in one of my existing sheets. This is all today. You guys need to call muligan on that last update.

Excel is very good. Almost all the features are available in this app. But it always says that 'excel stopped working do you want to wait or close the app'. I prepared a spreadsheet about my day to day expenditure and it was lost due to this unexpected closing of app and the excel document was corrupted and it is not opening. Please make the app without crashes.

I'm changing my previous 5 star rating to 1 star. The update on 11/15/17 RUINED this app. It's now 11/29/17 and the issue that SO MANY people are having (crashes when you try to type in a cell) STILL aren't fixed. Lots of 1 star reviews because of this. Guess I'm going back to Kingsoft. ????

Was a 5 previously. Giving lots of problems now. Tends to suddenly stop and exit without saving. Sometimes my note will hang and I have to do a soft reboot to get it going again. Please fix ASAP.

Been successfully using Excel since first of October 2017. Really liked it. But then a couple of days ago it started crashing whenever I tried to edit & save a doc on my Note 8. VERY FRUSTRATING. Please fix!

Ever since the last update, it freezes, crashes, doesn't save changes. Ive uninstalled and reinstalled and it didn't help. Using Samsung Note 8. Used to use it everyday. Still need to use it everyday. Please fix it ASAP!

I liked this app a lot... Until they started requiring a Microsoft account to use it. Getting one ended up being a massive pain. Even after I finally got one, it would not let me type into anything on the spreadsheet. At that point I downloaded Google Sheets, which worked instantly, and I'm not going back.

I'm required to use this app for work and it does nothing but crash on my note 8 probably 25 times a day. I truly wish there was an alternative because Excel is absolutely 100% with out a doubt TRASH!

Loved the app. But keep crushing. I did my daily expenses in it. I've been tried and restart the phone, the uninstall the app, restarted the phone again, installed the app, loged back in. Same thing. Keep crushing as I'm typing in a cell

I loved the app prior to the most recent update on November 15th. Since then the app freezes and crashes constantly. It actually froze my Note 8 completely so I had to do a hard reset. Please undo whatever you did in the most recent update and rerelease the old version.

Five stars for the app, but zero for the morons responsible for deplorably bad and destructive updates. My advice is not to use automatic updates: update only if YOU have a problem, not merely because others do (and who possibly have an issue due to a different OS).

Wow! An app that's almost as good as the full-blown product! I always depended on Excel when I was working, and now that I'm retired I'm thrilled to find this app which gives me so much of the functionality that I was used to in the full-blown product. Thanks for making the transition from work to retirement so seamless for me!

Since lately I've been unable to open files. It keeps on saying can't open file before which it would say for the longest time processing file. Dunno what update came in or if there is something wrong with the server but it sucks. Not giving this more than one star cus it doesn't work anymore

Use this on the go while working as a courier - was perfect for my needs. Now it crashes and freezes my phone. Gone from being one of the very best apps to the worst. It's completely broken.

It's a little awkward to use because you don't have a mouse to help you navigate, but still functional after you learn to use it. I mean, excel has a learning curve anyway. I use it for all kinds of stuff and I love that I can e-mail my self a spread sheet from a computer and access it on my phone.

App is poor. Won't let me edit files on my Google drive. I've given permissions to my Microsoft account. App says sign in 365 account but then doesn't let me sign in with that account or recognise that I'm already signed into a 365 account. I can't believe I'm forced to have this bloatware on my phone.

Why does it constantly freeze when opening a document? This has been an issue ever since I bought an android phone months ago. The Windows phone version worked fine, so it boggles the mind that this one is completely different and so buggy.

Few months ago after the update released for the office apps...all the templates were gone...bcz of some kind of bug...but after few complaints by the other users now it's fine...again the templates are available... Good job Microsoft... Thank u for resolving the issue... (19//11/2017) - Again some bugs after recent update... When shifting to a different cell by pressing the enter key from the keyboard then whatever being typed doesn't automatically appear in the cell...but appear only if the dialog box is clicked manually after shifting... A bad bug...

Not usable on my Samsung Galaxy Note 8. Unexpectedly freezes the Note 8 requiring it to be reset. This happens almost all the time so now stopped using and switched to Planmaker

excel stupidly rounds 1/11 down to zero. It is not possible to change this in settings. The PC feature of being able to select a number of deimal places to round to must be brought to mobile. Great app though, very fun to use. Have made a primality checker and derived the equations for r to the power of 3, 4, 5, 6, and 7 for sum from m to n using sigma. This would take an umpossibly long time w/o excel.
