Microsoft Word

Last two updates broke it on Nexus 7 (2013)android6... Very disappointing. /Update: At long last, after many weeks and two failed updates, a third one worked. One more star... Will store it to sideload if this ever happens again...

There is a problem! Today I was doing a schoolar project in my phone but when I tap in the 3 lines in the left upper corner it did not respond or do something so it did not let me save it! I was trying to save it in my device's storage but it did not work! Please make a solution as fast as posible!

Better than ANY other word processing app in the app store. People complaining about what it can't do ha e to remember that this is a mobile app. It has more functionality than any other like app. Simple interface, formatting, outlining options, etc. Lots of beautiful templates for those of use that need a head start. Love this app.

Well I must say as a writer who has several devices I now feel confident I can write anywhere any time and not lose my work or get lost between versions. Thanks for the constant updates too. I usedto use multiple word processors and had to cross convert and keep copies everywhere. What a mess. Not any more. I have the same constantly updated versions on all machines, pad, and phone! Excellent work.

The app loses its top nav bar when using multi window, forces me to exit in order to recover the documents. I miss the keyboard lock. Currently I have to move my curser to bring the keyboard up. It was convenient to lock in the first place. Sad to see it go.

What else can I say except that I would not know what to do without Word. I use it a lot on my Android, as well and sometimes it is difficult. It is hard to get the fonts and adjustment to the paragraph Etc. On the computer, of course it's great. It's just on the Android that it is difficult to switch to edit paragraphs, etc.

Awesome Microsoft! Finally you are started to make Word Simple and Free for mobile. This app is very easy to use on my Tab. But there is no word count here. Please add that feature. Otherwise good. Please Make more reliable and faster than desktop version.

I love this app, I really do... but... since its most recent update I've been having a horrible time with text. It seems to be capitalizing random letters in random places, and adding numbers in the middle of words. I don't have this problem elsewhere on any of my apps so it's got to be the MS Word app... Right?!

Useful app but is temperamental. Offline work is easy but once connected online the document must be opened that way. Loading sometimes doesn't work as it refuses to open up documents Error messages occur for no reason. I open a document and get a notice saying 'someone else made changes', yeah ME

It generally works, but having a few hiccups. Mostly deleted my work, and crashing. Recently told me I couldn't open a file on 'this version of Word' which I couldn't quite understand because I updated it 6 hours prior.

Hate it It keeps signing me out and when I try to sign in, it always says encountered a problem. And why do you want us to use your drive? I already have Google drive and Dropbox both of which are better than your one drive

Sometimes can not open a document directly from file manager, and need to search for it using this app. Not a big issue but marked down because of it. Up to now tho, working well, will see how it fairs when i have no online connection

Wrote a very important document. I mean very important and I wrote it up so unbelievably perfect. Next day go to open it after 100% saving it.... And it tells me it can't open the document. I'll never ever use this again. Maybe 3rd worst decision of my life. Thanks for nothing.

The Microsoft Office mobile apps are pretty good. The only issue is that they are quite heavy on memory and storage. I will still use this over the other advert littered free options available though. Awaiting further optimization and updates. #MicrosoftLoyal

It won't let me make anymore documents for some reason. I've deleted other documents to see if it would work but it doesn't. I've tried to sign in but it says I have to sign in in a different browser and when I do that it either doesn't work or says my password is wrong. Please fix this I love Word and I wish I could take it higher

Unlike my windows phone, it seems the android version is a bit difficult to use. The most irritating part is that it deletes the word when using apostrophe and I have to type again at least thrice. My phone has 3 gbs of RAM but it lags a lot when typing down long words. But all in all, it's a nice application.

I use to enjoy using this app. The features were great. I especially loved the fact that any changes I made on one device were automatically made on all device. However, I have become increasingly annoyed that I have to sign in every time I use my app. Adding to my frustration is that I am not always able to login. I keep getting a message stating " can't complete task office has encountered a problem. " If this was not an issue for me I would give this app 5 stars.

This latest update is still not working. It will still not allow me to open my files. It has not worked for a month. A week or more ago Word & Hotmail stopped working after a Microsoft critical update. Trying to get support is almost impossible. Microsoft has different departments for every product. I finally got Hotmail to work again but Word on both my phone & pc is having multiple failures. Problems are the same as other users. I have not used other Office products to test them. I am paying over $100 per year for Microsoft Office, so a 2 week shut-down is not fun. Spread the word & see you on Twitter. November & still not working despite the promises from Microsoft. Another Update just minutes ago & any files updated or made since November 11 are not working.

Hate the Microsoft data thiefs, but you can't argue with Word and Excel. You just have to accept that when you open a document in either of them that it immediately belongs to Microsoft. Still, its a 4 star app.

Complete experience was trashy, As application was crashing after every edit in a file. This app is of 65MB with big name 'Microsoft' attached to it. yet it failed to perform smoothly. Doesn't seems to be working as it does on otger platforms. App needs Quick fix ASAP...

It's really handy to have but needs some fixes. Been able to change titles for starters. But the biggie for me is not been able to print, all I get is "unable to open document" whenever I try to print or share as a PDF. Sony z5 premium. Help please

Great and efficient app. Also THANKS FOR THE SCROLL-BAR. But PLEASE allow editing files WITHOUT login and also PLEASE ALLOW properly view and edit the Legacy file formats .TXT , .RTF , .DOC etc.

The app works but if you try to work when it autosaves, there's a 50% chance that you can't work on it anymore. So you'll have to manually save after every sentence you type to be safe. Sometimes it's a bit laggy but it works

The app constantly logs me out and when I try to log back in, it tells me microsoft encountered a problem. The app once told me that my account doesn't exist. I'm not sure what the problem is.

The Microsoft Word is a very easy app to use and do your assignments. However, it has a glitch whereas your typing and it keeps switching to caps lock every minute. This need to be fixed pronto.

I type very slowly on my laptop. Using this phone word app has effaced that problem of typing beareaucracy to a very large extent. And it becomes the more interesting when I feel like it is a kind of chatting with my friends on facebook.

When you don't have a computer or laptop this is a great app for your phone or tablet. Love this app and I love being able to print from my phone too. We've come a long ways technology wise.

Like it and would recommend it for writing on the go. It saves automatically so you don't have to worry about losing data if something crashes. It doesn't have ALL the options that the desktop version has, but it'll suffice

Pls tell me, how to uninstall all the micro soft word and powerpoint? It always took me 60 second more to open the app and sometime after waiting it won't open or work.

I enjoy that this app allows me to keep editing whilst on the go. When I get home, I'm home, not spending time in the study, syncing my activities and correspondences. It's great that Microsoft and Android are working well together, spares me lots of time.

Why isn't this working for me anymore? So I try closing out the app, reopening it in hopes of getting the text working again. Nothing. I try typing a sentence and it doesn't appear on my document. I tried typing on the other things and it works completely fine. It's just this app that I can't type in anything. Used to be good now it's just really nothing. My review won't change intell this situation is solved.

Annoying app. Never opens and when it does it freezes. If you manage to start typing it'll delay it for 2 minutes then start typing randomly.

Excellent app! Only one thing bothers me and that is lack of (or hard to find, I looked everywhere) Read-only feature for a currently open document. It's annoying when I tap on letters while scrolling and the keyboard appears so I accidentally type random letters. It also messes up the layout. It would be nice if the feature would be in top tools bar as a toggle button to quickly go to and from read-only and edit modes. If this is in fact included tell me how to activate it (shouldn't be hard to find) and I will give 5th star. Otherwise awesome and really fast app, I even ditched my pdf reader over it.

Its a life saver for university. Shout out to those who don't own a laptop and has to use the phone app

This app along with the power point app have never worked well on my tablet. When I first got it, I paid for a subscription, but even then it didn't let me edit or add to documents after like a year. Now I am trying to log in with a university account for the Microsoft advantage( free with tuition). However, it will not let me log in, saying my password is wrong. When I log anywhere else, my password works fine. My only issue is when trying to use it on the tablet (app).

I wanted to copy the resume and then paste it on the indeed app but I don't know how to do that , you have pictures for buttons that don't mean anything to me, might as well be another language, why doesn't it say copy or pate or edit or anything in English, now I have like 50 things downloaded and not even sure if my resume was posted! Unless you are a rocket scientist with a degree in computer science, how are you supposed to figure it out! Just saying

"Can't Open File. Office can't complete your request right now. Please try again later" An app that refuses to open it's own files is a special kind of useless. Error message tells you nothing! Why would later be any different? You people are idiots.

It's decent. I am able to write down a script for a web series I plan to start, but DEAR GOD LET ME CHANGE THE TITLE! I have 3 "Document"s and a "Document 1" and whenever I try to change it, it snaps back to Document. If this gets fixed this will be the best app

It's good however when I search Google for something thus coming out of word, when I go back to my document, I can't find it as it's saved somewhere unknown. Also I try to click to open document's and it won't allow it?? However?, I've always preferred and liked word to anything else such as 'pages'. Just need to fix these cliches to get full marks and 5 stars. ????????

Schizophrenic user interface. App has a hard time trying to figure out what your clicks and gestures mean. Zooms in and out on every click, edit menus pop up when you don't need them. Terribly designed app. Even zooming in 400% and clicking at pixel level doesn't help it to correctly interpret your intentions. Tries too hard to please.
