About Media Button Overlay
Want to change your music, but busy navigating? Perhaps you're looking up the restaurant you're going to, but can't stand the song that's playing. This overlay is the perfect app for you!
With a single tap, you have access to common music player features: start, pause, previous, and next. Load up your media player, start the overlay, and away you go! You can also have a persisting notification, where you can toggle the overlay with ease!
This app works with Locale, Tasker, and other apps that receive the same intents as them. This means you can automatically start and kill it with different actions!

Note: This app was designed with the Spotify and Google Play music players in mind, with the default option being a fallback which works for most vendor-specific music players (but may have slightly unpredictable behavior!).

* Vibration: for the optional haptic feedback option
* Run at startup: for the optional notification launcher

Should make it easy to turn on and turn off with one click.... Works with mx player which deserves plus 6 stars.... Most others I tried don't work with MX like overlay etc

As others have mentioned, needs an option to be opened more efficiently, perhaps in the notification panel. Also the ability to resize would be great.

Need an easy way to turn on. Going into the app settings and turning the overlay on is a bit aquard. A shell command to do so would be superb for automation use cases. Tnx.

exactly what I'm looking for.feature request: bigger control maybe.n shuffle button.n repeat button.n shortcut to directly open the overlay without opening the app first.n the ability to reposition the overlay coz sometimes i cant type letter p and l when overlay is on my right side of the screen...thanks..

On a Nexus 7 dedicated to my car It works great! It would be great to have user made skins so we can edit this. Im surprised this is the only app of this kind. Thanks for adding tasker support!

I would add an option to relocate the media controls anywhere on the screen, and optional volume controls
