MissingX is the world’s biggest, universal database of lost and found property, partnered with train, airline, bus and taxi companies in many major travel destinations across the world, helping to reunite over 1.5 million items so far with their owners. Looking after your bags while travelling, whether for business or pleasure or as a regular commuter, can be one of your biggest worries. You may even pick up someone else’s bag by mistake, or find something that a fellow traveller has left behind. With this App, you can quickly register a lost or found item, inbuilt GPS accurately records the location, and the system matches the item to the registered owner and messages them. They can then verify and claim their property which can be collected in person or returned via the mail or a courier. The internal messaging system keeps your identity secure until you wish to share contact details to arrange a handover in person.
You may also advertise a reward for your lost item, or have it featured, to make it more visible and increase the chances of getting your valuables back. The Near Me feature shows all registered lost and found items close to your current location.

App is useful; it saves you from dealing with the issue over phone, however the latest update for Android crashes during a search. Moreover it would be good if it can allow search per train operator and per date only, instead of specific route. Sometime items might be found on different journeys of the same train from the one the item was lost. Please add that. Thanks

The app assumes the item lost will be found on the same day on the exact train? But if not found directly at end of journey then it could be found on any destination train afterwards even on a different day. Can a larger date range or all trains be added???

I'm trying to submit a claim for an item that's listed on the app, but on submit I get a message "please select terminal" although there is no terminal field and I've filled in all the fields on the form
