Lake County Forest Preserves

This app now wants virtually every permission possible. Call history, browser history..... no thank you.

Downloaded this app to be able to digitally check in to the Hike Lake County program, and can't do it. Keep getting a error message. FB is linked and everything looks correct.

Seems the permissions have gotten nosey! This is a forest preserve app.. why do you need to know who calls me and my history? The older version doesn't require this so I don't update. Love the app otherwise.

This app collects too much personal info from the phone and sim card. I may reinstall after the app permissions are changed.

It used almost all of my phone's battery because it turned GPS on in the background for 4+ hours when I wasn't using the app. Update: I uninstalled the app because even after disallowing location access, the app still used GPS for over an hour.

This is a good basic app, has potential for much better. Wish list: to track my location on the map of the forest preserve I'm currently in, real time park closures/ water closures (Wright woods is always partly closed bc of the river), other current info i e, when water faucets wil be turned back on (I have dogs). Oh, and does not drain battery like previous post said. Galaxy S3

Just a bunch of locations on a large map. When you click on a location there is little info, address and hours. This would be great if there was a map of each park showing trails.

This app is great. Gives you all of the need to know information happening at the beautiful preserves.
