This app is back to 30days trial mode asking me to buy new license again although i already bought it last time... really a rip off...

Please introduce a way to Downgrade! I Can't endure your too slow input and serching methods anymore!

I bought this app in 2017. It constantly crashes. I eventually found out this is a version 5.xxx, while the free version of the OED is 7.xxx version. Wondering when was this app updated last time. If the producer is not committed to support, why it is here to cheat us cash?

I would really love to see a 'sync favourited words to google drive' option or something similar, as I have lost a couple of long lists due to hardware issues. Probably possible to back up manually but in this day and age I would hope it could be automated.

I also have the iPhone version of this app and you can search from the index on a whim, select a word, see the meaning, press the back button and then go back to where you were in the index. In this Android version hitting the back button takes you right back to the top of the index again at 'A' which is very disappointing. Please fix.

Very bad experience. I have installed it on my lenovo idea tab B8080-H. It is not working. If I search a word, it keeps on searching forever but doesn't show any results. I have tried to download the database for offline use, it is not downloading. Total frustration.

Word of the day widget is quite small on quad HD screens. Could we make expandable with larger text on these screens?

The Oxford Dictionary of English maintains the integrity of the Queen's English. The spellings of certain words are not mutilated like those of American English. After all, whom better to master the English language than the British?!

Do not update to this version it garbage. Eveytime you type in a letter you dazzled with a flashing white box in dark blue background. It's main feature is 2 links to more dictionaries. I want the previous version back, how do I get it. I paid for this and now get mobi-ads. So much for ad-free. I press on the speaker icon - CRASH.

Kindly set up exit button to leave the app instantly, which I feel is such a drawback in this dictionary.

I've been using the full version of this app since 2013. My activation key was no longer working after an upgrade and Ivaylo got back to me the evening of the day I made a support request. Blown away at that level of reaponsiveness. Heck yeah. You guys rock.

it was perfect. app was wonderful, functioning well, almost every word in usage was in there, search was quick and without flaws. then the update comes along and now this piece of garbage is slooooow and lost all its simplicity. make downgrade available please

I admit there's a few archaic words that have escaped me. None are present in this app though Google will present the answers with correct pronunciation within a heartbeat. For those who enjoy late night ghost stories written by one of the finest British writers, this app is far too basic to do anything but confirm spelling of words you already know. Not worth the premium save for the excellent audio

Excellent (really excellent) database which can be quickly searched.

The 5.0.4 update gets the new app where it ought to be. The camera function, though, is just silly: how is it more convenient to photograph a word than to type or speak it? The content, if a little dated, is still the best: fuller definitions, citations, and usage notes than other established dictionaries. To get the latest entries (e.g. cisgender) you must go to oxforddictionaries dot com, or use the superb WordWeb Chambers app to do this for you.

Don't like the new version compared to the old. The search function is slow and bad, and the design has become too busy. The old one was simpler and much faster.

Many words I try to look up are not in the Dictionary.

The best dictionary I ever had. At least for the intermediate level.

Does exactly what it's meant to do well and quickly. An offline dictionary, each word in the definition is clickable, and having word pronunciation is really useful. Love it.

Latest version fixes the bugs. The only thing that would be good would to have the actual dictionary updated. It is three years old now.

For older version: The dictionary is excellent, and includes the etymology of the words. BUT it took nearly 10 attempts over three days to download the data successfully. Over a good wifi connection.

I used to love this dictionary on my phone. The newest version is sooo slow by comparison. PLEASE PROVIDE A WAY TO REVERT OR UNDO THE UPDATE!!

Great value with concise explanations. Generally speaking the depth of explanation is balanced but some technical terms could do with expanded explanations e.g. diode.
