I gave GOLUK T3 5 stars on Amazon, but 3 stars for the application. I will change my rating to 5 stars if I see app improvements. I just received my GOLUK T3 a couple days ago and hardwired it to my fuse box for continuous recording. So far the camera and app are decent with a tremendous amount of potential, but falls short in several areas. 1.) Wifi disconnects constantly. I own a YI dashcam and never have this issue. Please fix ASAP! 2.)Videos buffer a lot throughout the entire video even with good internet. 3.) You can see video loops by day, but it would be nice to have a more granular view to show by trip. Example: All looped videos between the time 1500-1645 are grouped in one section. 3.b) In addition to a granular view, it would be nice to have a more macro view to see week and month. 4.) When videos sync with the phone a loud ringtone/sound plays. It doesn't appear you can disable/change this. 4.b) It would be nice to have a enable/disable synchronization notification option that allows you to disable sound and sync status bar at the top of the screen. I find both the sound and the status bar to be very distracting. I prefer app to sync quietly in background. 5.) Since the camera is dependent on phone, it would be nice to have an option to sync phone GPS to display speed and location history with videos. 6.) Ability to add, change, or remove GOLUK watermark logo at the end of the video. 7.) Need the ability to swipe left/right through videos for easier viewing. 7.b) When viewing videos vertically on phone, add a video scroll below the playing video to allow users to quickly view other videos that were recorded before/after the current video playing. 8.) Ability to edit videos is a great feature, but I wish I could save my edited video without being forced to to share it. 9.) A sub-option maybe called "Stealth Mode" to disable lights and sound in Parking Mode. 10.)Video album/Library needs better categorization. I would like to distinctly be able to tell the videos apart. At a glance I think the categories should be: Motion Detected, Magic Key, G-Sensor (Urgent) and Looped videos. It would be nice if the videos either a) had their own tabs,or b) an overlay icon to show what type of video it is.

Great app. Works beautifully with the T3 dashcam. Makes it simple to use. Connects too dashcam quickly and easily, handles firmware updates effortlessly. Until I got this dashcam and app I didn't know dashcams could be so painless to use. Highly recommended.

The app works ok but needs some work and I'd like to be able to adjust more settings on the camera... for instance I'd like the ability to turn off all the camera's lights, to turn off the sounds the camera makes when it detects motion or impact, and to turn off the camera's wifi when the parking monitor on (All controllable independently, basically I'd like to make the camera more discreet during parking monitor mode). It is annoying to have to reconnect to the camera's wifi every time I want to reconnect to the camera while I'm still within the app. I had to manually press the camera's reset button in order for the firmware update to be sent to the camera. The "Parking Sleep" mode doesn't appear to do anything, yet it has the exact same description as the parking monitor mode. There are other settings in the app that are not explained at all, and are not self-explanatory. Please fix these issues!

App works great with my phone. Wish it stop saving all the pics on my phone option to turn that off with a iPhone but not with Samsung Galaxy s5. .. also I've been reading everyone's ratings and your all stupid as hell. Learn to use this product before rating. I thing this is one of the best camara/app ever... dumb asses...

Have to go to web site to use, camera caught an accident in front of me but cant crop video and share without screen turning everything to blue tint

Doesn't work on Android 7.1.1 wifi connected to camera but app won't connect and gives a connection failed error

This thing must be spyware as well, just look at the insane permissions on it. It basically has full rights to your phone, can intercept phone calls, text messages, power on or off your phone, etc. It has full access to your sensitive log data, etc. Can't wait to load this up on wireshark.

Some times can be buggy. The videos transfered to phone are stored to internal phone memory. App interface can be better.

I have Android 7, nougat and a gocam T2. This app will connect once, then will never reconnect to the cam. You can reset the camera to defaults, still won't connect. Would love to rate higher, but I can't tell how good the camera is without using the app to get video data. Please update the app to support latest Android. My phone successfully joins the gocam wifi every drive, so it should connect.

Bought the camera, got the app, worked out it won't work with latest Android on Nexus 5x. Does work on another older Android device running previous version. When is this going to be updated?

The camera works great. But the connection issues are terrible. It's probably better to ignore the app and if you need to access some videos, just remove the sd card and use a reader.

I have Samsung galaxy s6 with Android 6.0.1 running. Am able to connect to goluk wifi but the following step immediately pops up "unable to pair". Tried contact goluk, no response.

At first I thought it was a lost cause but after the recent updates it's been working like a charm. It was a close call, I almost ordered another brand. It's very easy to use now. I will keep it around for a while, I like what I see now.

Can't disable the goluk logo, the whole thing is confusing and nothing is explained. Id suggest installation only to set up the camera and then just uninstall it because it's just bad.

I like this dash cam, its everything I wanted. Easy to setup and works treat. Quality is excellent. Only feature I feel that is missing is being able to save a recording 15 seconds before and 15 seconds after the button is pressed.

Cannot use for goluk bought in China

I need to be able to share all videos by email or text directly from the app without transfering an edited video to my phone. When i transfer video to my phone from the app and try to share it the video quality is very bad. Also, the goluk logo in the top left corner and the full screen size logo with super fun dash cam at the end of videos needs to be dropped. I really would like to see Goluk update this app with more useful features. I like the camera very well.

App keeps crashing when I try to create an account. Have restarted phone several times but keeps failing when getting verification code. Camera being returned and app uninstalled.

Does a lot more than recording the journey. Push the black button at any time and it records 12 seconds of video in a saved file. 6 seconds before you push the button and 6 seconds after you pressed it. Lots of settings in the app.

It says unable to connect to China dashcam. When I check with support through Goluk FB, they say it should be fine even if purchase from Taobao. The support is not helpful at all

App will not work with the Samsung Galaxy Note 5. Instructions are sparse and after connecting to the Goluk wifi network the video will not load.

Please allow user to connect to camera via wifi and not hotspot!making use of hotspot might make sense for a "social dashcam", but unfortunately my carrier doesn't allow hotspot without extra monthly fee. I just want use the basic dashcam feature.

The App/Camera does not connect to my Samsung Galaxy 6 Active' WiFi Hotspot. It connects 1st via wi-fi then is suppose to turn off wi-fi and reconnect to the phones Hot Spot but never does. My phones hot spot has been tested and does work correctly. The Camera worked correctly with an iPhone. The Goluk tech support was not able to help. The Camera is being returned and the app uninstalled.

Wifi OK, but T1S would never connect back to Nexus 6P
