Chinese Writer Free

Fix the big ,I play writing then laggy out back to screen ,then have to add my character into the pack and then can play back . Fix the bug pls . This is a very good app

I like the concept and it could be fun but I keep losing just because you never tell me which order to draw the different lines in and I have to guess.

Pretty useful to familiarize yourself with Chinese writing with meaning and pronunciation. They should have separate lists of easy characters to do first.

Must be a bug but it just won't open on my android. Says 'there was an error setting up'.

Your stroke orders are completely weird, and not in line with what I was taught (being born in china). What is going on?

I am impressed by the selection of characters on the browse mode, but practicing them on the actual game is pretty much impossible! They fall much too fast and I couldn't even get past the first screen (list of characters on browse mode). Maybe add a super-slow function for us normal speed people?

Not an app for beginners. I doubt you'll learn anything. The characters get devoured far too quickly even on the longest time setting. Also the characters are too random, should start with 2 and 3 stroke characters and build the difficulty level. Stroke order of a lot of the characters is also different to what i've previously learnt. More an app for an advanced learner to have a quick mess about. Trump 2017. Things can only get better.

Its a good way to learn stroke order and for all of you who say its hard, its not. Saying it's the wrong stroke order either means you don't know the traditional order or it really is wrong.

great tool! though it doesn't stand alone. you need to combine other app to master chinese characters other aspects, such as pinyin, meaning, compbinations of characters

I don't like the music and sound effects. The sliding effect is visually tiresome. I would also appreciate a bigger variety in hanzi. But I like it overall.

However I would have liked an easier mode as after a few minutes it becomes almost impossible to continue because the time runs out so fast. Otherwise nice game to spend your time on. And you get the bonus of being able to write in Chinese! How cool is that!

Needs to detect strokes a bit better, and accept out of order entry but still count error. Error priority is a great idea, but I found that I did a lot of errors the first time, then did itnroght later, and it kept drilling me. I'd love to work with these guys to polish it. This is the closest thing to a typing tutor I have found so far.

This app teaches stroke order, what the words mean, is interactive and. Just fun and good for people who are trying to learn how to write vastly in Chinese when you play mode you have to get the correct stroke order before it fall very good for new Chinese speakers

Chinese is a language with very long history, the Chinese characters we use nowadays appeared 1300 years ago, which had already been improved over the past 1700 years. Chinese isn't the same as other language, character's structure is combined by few different parts which has different meaning. Nearly 90% of Chinese characters combine one 'meaning part'(部首) and one 'sound part', once you can write these parts separately, you can write most of the characters like playing puzzle or Lego.

you are clearly a more intelligent, more highly evolved life form than i am. Yes, it is a GAME. Which sounds like a brilliant idea to make learning Chinese more enjoyable, and therefore more efficacious. But you not only have to know how to draw the characters, but EACH STROKE MUST BE DRAWN IN A COMPLETELY ARBITRARY SEQUENCE which is completely alien to non Chinese speakers. Nowhere in the app are the "correct" arbitrary stroke steps explained, you just get penalized for being wrong. NEEDS MUCH WORK!

Too many incorrect stroke orders for traditional characters. Makes it un-playable because you learn the wrong way :(

Some of the words have incorrect stroke. Maybe because there are more than one correct way to write a character. Anyway, the cursive is not well supported...

Mindless way to learn Chinese. You'll have to put effort into actual learning instead of just playing the game over and over

I find the red arrows very destracting and unhelpful in the browse mode. I found I was learning much faster through trial and error than being spoon fed after the update.

Great way to learn strokes in Chinese....new to Chinese so free and easy works for me
