Galaxy Universal Remote

No ads. Liked the Peel Remote but couldn't deal with the popup ads and monthly fee to remove it. Found this and couldn't be happier. Works well with my Samsung tv and Motorola set top box. Great jobs devs!

I've never seen so many devices on a universal remote. I truly believe the author's promise to add missing devices when asked. ALSO, setup was quite easy. Then I was permitted to put extra effort into customizing a remote. I made a super-simple one for the kids to use. I'm completely happy with this app. A good investment.

Works great, easy interface, responsive development team, and has saved the day when I needed remotes for projectors that are really high up.

Run well as described, added some custom remote, the support team provide instant reply thru email. I can control multiple TV, DVD player, TV box, AC, and fan.

Fantastic app I've used around the world. It's great easy to use and so many brands and models. Hey Developers one thing. My soniq TV remote had a large button that needs to be pressed to go from small opening screen to the full screen. The app does not have this button. Regards Brett just a Psss Thanks so much team. This app has been working wonderfully for me on my Galaxy S4 active with a multitude of devices around my house, from my TV soundbar , TV, DVD player, cable box, computer speakers- pretty much anything for which I have an infrared remote. Many timely updates, too. Makes the phone that much more useful. *Update* - I upgraded to a Samsung Galaxy S5 Active, and the app continued to work flawlessly. However, he app stopped working for my 60" TCL Roku TV, probably because TCL is always updating their software. Is there a fix in sight? Thanks for a great app, Moletag!

The remote quality is great, and has done everything I've needed it to (two different tv sets in-home, and numerous in local coffee shops/cafes). The interface is a little confusing, because it doesn't always start at the right screen (i.e. starts at the "brand selection"), but it's a small fix on their end, and not a deal breaker" on my end either. Great app overall, happy to have paid what I paid for it.

Great application, great support. If you have widely used devices, you can control them in a snap. If you don't, like me, then they do whatever you need and find a solution, they even refund your payment. I use it on my Samsung S6 to control my 6 different devices. It's fast and extremely customisable. I haven't tried the macro feature yet. Highly recommended.

My apologies regarding my earlier rating! I think possibly there was just a glitch somewhere, as shortly after I posted my review, I closed out the application and restarted... The start button appeared and the application works great! Thanks for your response regarding the issue though, and I've made sure to adjust my rating!

Best app I've ever paid for. Setup my TV & Xbox One within a minute. No more looking for controllers or remote. Just get my phone out of my pocket and turn them on. I can navigate the Xbox homescreen, play Netflix, etc. Change channels on TV, switch modes. Everything I needed.

I misunderstood the custom IR code bit. I thought it meant it was a learning remote like other apps. I can't exactly get the hex codes for old remotes I have for Rome of the things I would like to program.

I was able to program my TV and dvd player with no problem but tried to program my satellite which I have thru Dish network and could not program it whatsoever even used the scanning method. Any suggestions or reasons why it might not work with it?

This app allows you to mix buttons from different devices on one screen as well as custom ir code and macros. I have been using it for a couple of years now and have 0 complaints.

For Android devices with IR blaster, this app is highly recommended to give it a try. I was also trying my luck on my old Panasonic RX CT990 radio, too bad no luck, I wonder if my receiver is broken. It would be even greater if more functions can be added for climate control, such as temp and swing control.

I don't really review things often but this actually works really well, set up a single remote to control my whole media centre, clean ui and well worth the $5

Works exceptionally including an old tv rhat didn't work on any of the free apps. I had a problem with 1 code and they contacted me dsily til it was tesolved. Even offered me a refund if couldn't fix. Great people

Had this remote for awhile. Always worked, always found a code for anything. Until I upgraded to the Samsung 7, now won't even do anything. Tried to set up my tvs, selected the brand and nothing doesn't even go to the option to pick a remote.

Have all my Bose entertainment systems hooked up along with T.V's. Controlled on my tabS 2. The custom settings takes awhile if you have a lot of buttons on your remotes but we'll worth the purchase. Only thing that sucks is Samsung galaxy S7 edge doesn't have IR capability. In the long run its worth it. If someone says it sucks then they are probably doing it wrong or the app is too difficult for them. Bonus. .....No ADS!

This is a great app. Setting up the remotes for my devices was very easy. Making my own custom remotes was very self explanatory and easy to do as well. When I contacted the developer for additional IR codes they got back to me within twenty four hours and the codes they sent worked perfectly. I highly recommend this app. I'm using a Galaxy s4 running Lollipop.

I think this will be a great app. I wanted to replace peel because it was getting too invasive with the advertising and notification tactics. I paid for this one for two reasons. One, there are no permissions needed to intall this app. Meaning that my private info remains private. Two, at least one person is responding to these reviews. That tells me that at least one person respects people for spending their hard earned money on this work. The prica ain't bad either. It's only four bucks. Most of us spend more than that on our first drink at the bar. I'll play with this for a few days and rerate it if doesn't perform as advertised.

Good for any phone with an ir blaster built in. Control for every situation. Convenient build your own remote lets me turn on AC and TV with the same self made remote. Also if you need a new code, you can add it in. Not much to say. It works and it beats any universal remote you can buy at the store no contest. 10/10 would buy again.

As of January 2017, this remote is "da bomb"! I absolutely enjoy using it. The newer button customization makes this remote stand out from the rest. The gold standard of remote apps.

Updated - Just to add that the support I continue to get from them is first class. They have provided extra buttons specifically for my devices and also respond positively to any support requests. After reviewing and being disappointed by every other app I tried, or finding some limitation that made it unsuitable, this was the one that finally ticked the box. Ad free and very customisable. It has lots of templates for many devices and makes. In my case, it came close, but I needed a few extra buttons. The support I received was superb and after sending an email they replied back and supplied the codes and then extra ones later on. In summary, you might have to customise it a little bit to get what you need, but this little bit of effort is worth it, since you get what you want with no compromises.

Trying to find remote codes for hci tv. All codes that I scan. The channel down button is mute and chanel up is power.. but I cannot find the actual channel up and down buttons.

Great app. However, I was unable to use remote for Proscan TV PLDED5069. It works for all my other devices.

Absolute crap. Didn't tell me that before I needed ANOTHER device to use the app. £3 wasted!

Works great on s5 Active, however it loses one star because I had to build my widget instead of it just giving me the stock remote look. It was easy to create though, so I'd really like this to be a 4.5 stars but I can't do that. It's worth the $3.

So much better than the ad laden Peel remote that comes with the stock ROM on a Verizon S5. And I think the ability customize your own remote is probably the best feature. Yeah, it's a bit price relatively speaking, but it also requires no permissions.

I paid for this remote app but it dosent have my baird brand on it when you have to select your tv beand so therefore this app is deemed useless to me either need a way round this or refund the purchase please

Good app, use it all the time. Fun party trick to change the volume on things and see if anyone notices. Would like to see an update that includes the PS4 though..

Very good job. This app is the best of all others remotes. I love it. But I baught it when I had my samsung. Galaxy note 3. Now I change for a LG V10, they ask me to buy it again. Then, I buy it two times its not fair

I have tried other apps which didn't work and bought a universal remote which also did not work. So glad I found this one and paid the small amount.
