Money Manager Ex is a free, Open Source, cross-platform, easy-to-use personal finance software. It primarily helps organize one's finances and keeps track of where, when and how the money flows. It is a great tool to get a bird's eye view of your financial worth.
Money Manager Ex includes all the basic features that most users would want to see in a personal finance application. The design goals are focus on simplicity and user-friendliness - something one can use everyday.
Financial management can be complicated if there is no clear understanding of how much money we are receiving or spending. The first step towards financial stability is to maintain good financial records: it's only when we have a clear understanding of where our money goes, that we can make an informed decision of where to cut back on expenses. There is no right or wrong answer to spending money but personal finance software will help you analyze the financial data and give a better insight into what is going on. Wizard to simplify creation of accounts and start using MMEX for Android. You have the flexibility of creating accounts in any of the multiple currencies available.

Take note of all expenses and incoming in a clear view: divide and highlight them with different status. Search, filter and sort by every field to have a clear situation of bank accounts at any time.
☆ PAYEES AND CATEGORIES

Been using it since 2011, I like the simplicity and easy to use. But now it's so difficult to sync between PC and my smartphone. And there's a lot of new database file created by the app (conflicted copy, or something). I hope there's an easier, simpler, and more seamless way to do some syncronization. Perhaps syncing a fresh new database is easy, but the old one, what a pain.

I use this on my home computer and wanted to be able to see my data from my phone, storing my data on my Google Drive. Some app can just access Google Drive directly. This one opens a browser where you need to sign in to your Google account and give some access authorization. In the end you still cannot access your data.

We have Assets using the Desktop version: "Assets: MMEX allows you to track fixed assets like cars, houses, land and others. Each asset can have its value appreciate by a certain rate per year, (...)" - but why don't we have the same function for the Android Version? It would be so cool...

When I use the app to download the database stored on Google Drive with a Windows PC, some transactions are missing. The app has become totally useless

The app has a steep learning curve and it takes a while to set it up. But after that it works flawlessly and via Dropbox you get an instant update on the windows app. The only problem is that the widgets don't work properly and need some attention.

It really confuse me why this app failed to read my database. The latest update works fine in my some old devices (Samsung Galaxy V and Huawei Mediapad Youth 2 both with Android 4) but not working in my newer devices like Asus Zenfone 2 Android 5 and Huawei Mediapad T3 Android N). I am able to install the app, but the moment i downloaded my database, the app will have problem reading it, and reduced the DB size from 3mb to 300kb and have it corrupted. Hopefully someone can assist

So far so good! Still just getting started and it looks like almost exactly what I wanted. The only other thing (so far) that I'd like to see, is a bill reminder, although this does have recurring transactions. Looking forward to using it more and trying it out on the PC. Once I have some money to spare, I'll definitely donate. It's free, but worth every cent of a donation.

Good app. Really good to manage your finances. The learning curve can be a bit complex at the begining but it is really useful app. Bad thing is that it seems to have several errors with newer phones and it corrupted my encrypted database file (good thing the desktop app has backups). Needs a bit more work, but definitely a great option.

EDIT: The app seems to have corrupted my database. :/ When I try to open my db after downloading it, it always says "Passcode does not match". Good thing I backed it up, but now I'm only using the desktop app instead. :( PREV: I've tried a lot (A LOT, seriously) of different apps for finance and I feel like this is the best one for me. I've been using it for months now, and it works great. I love the reports in particular. :D Thank you very much btw, I really appreciate the effort you guys put in making and improving this app! :)
