MOVE-ME.AMP is a prototype of an application that allows mobile access to global and diversified information about public transports available in Oporto city.
Fully new in Portugal, MOVE-ME.AMP shares to the final user wide and spread information concerning several operators of public transports and allows planning our routes in real time with features like intermodality and real time.
Nevertheless, the system allows finding the next departures, consulting the waiting times and destinations that are associated to next vehicles of a place chosen by the user.
An integration of maps enables the user to define a localization providing information such as:
• What are the nearest stops?
• What are the nearest points of interest?
• When is the next vehicle to pass in this stop?
The route finder helps the user to find the best route to a specific place. The places can be bus stops, metro and train stations, points of interest and GPS localizations. The solutions given take into consideration the real time vehicle positions and return the best option for that moment. The system informs the passing time for each stop, the local place to change and walking route between them.

Uso o move-me há já vários anos e considero-o uma ferramenta útil e diria que indispensável para usar transportes públicos de forma eficiente. Dito isto, tenho um defeito considerável a apontar à aplicação: de forma algo que aleatória (ou provavelmente quando a app não consegue obter dados para mostrar ao utilizador) em vez de mostrar os tempos estimados em tempo real, mostra os tempos previstos face aos horários afixados. Este último é irritante e inteiramente desnecessário.

I've been using this app for years and I do like it but there are 2 terrible issues with it: 1 Every update clears user saved stops 2 Search is awful (anything but the exact string returns no useful restless and stop names are inconsistent and unpredictable).

Aplicação não está devidamente atualizada com os horários existentes.. Já não é a primeira vez que perco transportes pq aplicação da horário incorreto. Especialmente aos fins de semana e horários de madrugada

A aplicação é muito boa quando está funcional, mas atualmente sempre que pretendo abrir para retificar o tempo restante para o autocarro/metro/eletrico chegar á minha paragem, a aplicação inicia, mas de seguida fecha sem nunca aparecer o menu inicial. Agradecia que esse incômodo problema fosse resolvido o mais rápido possível. Muito agradecido.
