Just wanted to add a few items from my list to my basket. After fiddling around I finally found the list area hidden away after many many back button pushes to return me to the first page. Then once I opened the list I couldn't find how to close it so gave up. Love the website but this app is really annoying and overly complicated that's not easy to use at all.

Don't waste your time downloading this app. You spend time doing a shopping list then it comes to sending your list to the supermarket and it's says there is a technical error try again later. Been trying to send list for 3 days and have ended up using the supermarket direct. Technical support never get back to you either.

by J####:

PLEASE SORT OUT THAT SEARCH TOOL MOVING CURSOR TO THE RHS. AND THE POPULAR PROMPT STOPS YOU TYPING SOOOOOOOO ANNOYING!!! Best free app I've used in a long time!! Would like to see collaboration added so my partner and I can build the same shopping list while not together.

R70%
by R####:

I use this app a lot as I like to know where items are on special offer but I find my lists hard to manage, especially favourites and my phone and tablet won't sync? My phone has now wiped all my lists.

B70%
by B####:

Works fast and able to find nearly every items of weekly shopping. However, it continuously check for location eating up battery and there is no way in the app turn it off. This is big negative for me, uninstalled straight away.

R70%
by R####:

Nice app and the idea is excellent but unfortunately it is not well implemented, while changing suppliers items are changed but (which is to be expected) but when changing back the same items are not changed back. It's actually more time consuming to see what has been affected and whether that new price is a reflection of the shopping that you wanted out not.

R70%
by R####:

I don't know about anyone else but this app is CR*P at recognising keyboard input when I type. It constantly misses out characters I know I have pressed, even when I type super slow it still skips characters. This problem had been going on for as long as I can remember. I have zero 3rd party keyboard apps installed. This happens on both my Galaxy S5 and Galaxy Note 4. FIX PLEASE.

Since January update it's stuck on Boots store & won't change. Go to my lists, and they're all gone. I'll try to uninstall and download in a few weeks - maybe. The desktop site was always better anyway.

H70%
by H####:

Product prices are often different in store, even in larger stores. I am constantly noticing items missing from available products compared to tesco app and deals not listed at all. Search option is awful.

R70%
by R####:

Good for my shopping to compare prices and doesn't drain my battery like other users say. I think they must have auto sync on? Turn it off, you'll soon save battery power!

Alerts don't work. I've contacted the app developers and alerts still don't work. The app is practically useless now. Was great before when alerts worked though. As of 7 January price alerts still don't work! When will this function return?!?!

R70%
by R####:

Dev not responded to email for support.... update 28/2: problem has been fixed. Many thanks. An excellent app and useful money saver - up to 4 stars.

R70%
by R####:

I love this website! I recently moved from iPhone which I am glad of but the app for android just isn't as user friendly and is rubbing really slow on my HTC! 5 stars will be given once I find it more user friendly

R70%
by R####:

Quite useful. More so if it could include Lidl. Only use occasionally, but my App manager flags it as having a large cache: I cleared 69mb (not having used it) a few days ago and now had 46mb with no use. If I can't stop it, I'm uninstalling. Raises two concerns: what is it doing in the background? And wasting precious resources

R70%
by R####:

Docked a star as continuously generates notification spam despite disabling notifications in the settings. Edit: docked another star for using 100mb+ background data a month without even being opened, and another for introducing a sluggish and buggy update (can no longer switch stores)

G70%
by G####:

The app contents are great, the concept is good. It is hard to use though due to the fact it slows the processor on devices. This manifestes itself when typing it slows the device down to the point that only every other letter is missed. 2, 3rds of the time is spent correcting spelling.

L70%
by L####:

Search missing key-presses, doesn't allow modifications to search. Couldn't find a way to remove a favourite. Must be a better way to change between own brand items, that allows one to return to the original selection.

R70%
by R####:

It's really good on iPhone but on Android it's rubbish. I used to be able to have a list with separate items for each store I wanted to go to. Not anymore! Now it just lumps all your items together and decides for you which shop you should go to to get the whole lot in one go. That's not what I want! Please let people decide to keep their items separate for each shop!

R70%
by R####:

Useful but buggy, recently all references to supermarkets was lost rendering app useless. Needs to be MUCH more user friendly. Shame as l'd like rate this higher. On the way down as l had rated this as a 4.

X70%
by X####:

**** Sends IMEI number **** Keeps changing my shopping list for 'own brands' which, if I wanted I would have asked for. Keeps telling me that items I can buy from my local store are not sold by that store. Both bloody annoying. However allows you to compare the price of a product across different stores using bar codes scanning (provided it thinks that each store sells it) and therefore worth having. Note heavy battery user

R70%
by R####:

Unfortunately my first search did not bring back accurate results compared to searching directly on supermarket sites (i.e. Cheaper by looking directly) this puts into question the enduring accuracy of whether you are actually getting the best deal. Shame really as this is a brill concept as long as you can trust the results (which I can't unfortunately.

U70%
by U####:

Would be a five if I could create a standard shopping list which is not attached to any supermarket and then tells me were I can buy it cheaper. So annoying that this is not a feature it means that I have to create five lists of the same item just because I shop at five supermarkets

R70%
by R####:

The predictive crap that fills in the search box needs an option to turn it off. Having to type in slow-motion is dumb. Try entering something like bread pudding. It missed 4 letters out which doesn't help. Cannot use '&' in list name. Still forgets the item I originally added. Replaces Cointreau with Cocoa-flavoured liqueur. Sorting gets very confused as well. Alerts have not worked for more than a year on any of my devices. Navigation is primitive.

C70%
by C####:

Useful price comparison that syncs shopping list with the website BUT not useful enough to justify draining 28% of my battery life whilst running in the background & without me starting it! Uninstalling.

C70%
by C####:

Good at checking prices. I feel that there should be a way to check which products I have on price alerts and more easily add or remove some, plus a way to back them up if I need to change device or uninstall for some reason. Also this app has used 90mb of storage on top of the app code! There is no way of finding out why and clearing it without losing my price alerts which is bugging me....

M70%
by M####:

It's a great app but needs some work. It drains battery. I uninstalled on my phone it was that ridiculous. It crashes when you filter searches which is really annoying. I haven't worked out how to edit/remove favourites. It should be simple but I can't work it out, that's if you can do it at all. For some reason it doesn't list everything that's available that I know is stocked in a particular store. I've found it useful for seeing what's available and it's saved me some money but it's far from perfect.

C70%

New: Stopped working after latest android system web view update. Old: Works well, but could do with more favourite product options. Other than that all is

C70%
by C####:

It was fine and worked perfectly, I even recommended it to others, but what have you done? I wanted to check an item to see who had the best price for an item and now it gives a list of prices but doesn't list who sells them at which price, what's the point in that? Maybe I'm missing the point but how is this useful? Please fix asap.

H70%

The idea is great but the accuracy and speed is slow, trying to scan as you go round a shop doubles the time to do a shop, and a few times it has been wrong quoting an offer on Butchers cat food in Sainsburys to be on offer when it was not, and asking the manager he said it happens a lot with this App, and today in Morrison's I scanned a big bag of Birds Eye peas to check on price, and it said it was out of stock there, yet it knew I was in the store as it showed the best deals, but credit for what it does.

C70%
by C####:

I've used this app a couple of times and couldn't understand why Waitrose was nearly £50 higher then all the other stores. When I switched to Waitrose too find out why, an item had 40 selected not the 4 as showing on my normal store. This isn't the first time I've noticed this happening. I also don't like the substitute element suggesting I want a no frills style replacement, I I say I want Ariel that's what I want not Asdas Smart Prices rubbish

This is a great way to grab bargains before, during and after shopping. You can check which shop is selling what you want cheapest today before you leave home. You can compare prices to other stores whilst checking that offer you've seen on the shelf. You can earn cashback after shopping by linking your PayPal account. Finally you can prepare and save lists for lots of different stores. What more could you ask for?

H70%
by H####:

Used to work. Not always the most up to date prices but at least a rough idea. Since updating the app is stuck on one store and it won't do any price checks.

I'm deleting this. It added a random pack of ham to my order. Swapped the paracetamol and ibropforen for 2 packs of asprin and deleted my rice. Just a bit random. I love mysupermarket but I'll stick to the website.

On more than one occasion I've checked the prices on here and traveled to the store with the apparent offers only to find out that "My Supermarket " is wrong. Waste of time, may as well roll a dice to choose where to shop. I gave 2 stars because price alerts is quite handy for getting notified of new offers.

I only use it for what I think most people will use it for: to price check items on my list. The description tab on the top right needs to be big enough to fit all the information

H70%
by H####:

Wow.. I didn't realise it uses 65 mb of data just on the background. When I have only used it once during the month for 0.5mb on foreground. So make sure u check usage or limit background usage only when there is wifi.

C70%

This app used to be great but isn't working anymore. It lists the cheapest price but doesn't say who it is from! Please fix ASAP

Can't update or add items to favourites which makes shopping using the app more long winded
