Boomerang - Parental and Screen Time Controls

Simply Amazing! I love everything about this app. It's very easy to use unlike (ST) which I'm glad I didn't purchase lol. The only thing I would like to see fixed to work better is the GPS tracking/Geofencing feature which I know is being worked on as I write this review. It takes too long for it to update my daughter's position or it will say she's out of the Geofencing when she's right in front of me on her phone lol. Two days ago after I updated our phones it said she was in Massachusetts and we live in Philadelphia lol. Otherwise it is totally the bomb! I would also like to know the dates and times for the various apps my daughter uses as well as for the duration. Much like how the browsing is tracked. So glad I got this app and have told all of my friends. Excellent app guys. Well done!

I absolutely love this app! It makes me feel safer giving my children a bit of freedom online, while still checking in. And the annual price is amazing as well! Ive tried several apps like this, and Boomerang is the best by far

This app does everything it says. The customer service is also very quick. Five stars! Suggestion: if you could block the child's phone once the battery gets to a certain percentage, would be helpful. Sometimes I would like to see on the map where my child is but her cellphone is out of battery.

One of the best and easiest parental apps out there. Has the features I was looking for in a parental app that the others were missing. And love the 14 day trial. Gave me plenty of time to decide if I liked it. Which I did, so I bought it for both my childrens phones.

I'm using vivo Y31, android 5.1. I think every android will have an optimization button that closes all running apps at once, this might include Boomerang. I whitelisted this app from app optimization and it's working now, so far the best App of its kind!

Very Good. We selecting the app and contacts to use after screen out time , in that separate the contacts and apps by folders to easy available .Pls consider this in next version

It suck

This is a fantastic app that helps my child to plan his game time better in the allocated time for the day. Screentime used to cause a lot if friction in the house, but no more! He can browse safely through Spin and I can check in now and again without my son feel like I'm spying on him. A great app for any household!

In my opinion, this is the best parent app available. I especially like that it will allow me to see full text message conversations and YouTube functionalities (lock out access to settings and ability to see searches and videos watched). I also like the SPIN browser which is a fully featured browser with patent controls. In other apps, the provided browsers are useless in comparison. I feel like those features set this app apart for the reason that it allows parents and kids to have actual conversations about usage and to train them to have good, responsible habits. This would be a perfect, stand-alone app. with the addition of the following functionalities: 1.) add a time-out duration for "the rest of the day", 2.) add a device lock-out feature that disallows ALL usage (including anytime apps), except for emergency calls and calls/texts to app. Administrators (parents), and 3.) Allow global time limits for allowed apps. across multiple devices (ie. If I allow 3 hours on "anytime apps", my child can't switch devices to get extra time). The addition of those three features would allow me to discard another app that I have been using (that has some of those features), and use Boomerang devotedly. Thanks for the great app! I will update with another star with the aforementioned feature additions (hopefully they are doable!).

I keep getting a message that push notification failed when I try to see the report for my daughter's phone. The status of her phone doesn't refresh when I hit the refresh button. It says her phone was last seen yesterday.

The perfect solution! Love this app. It is easy to setup and perfectly balances control with privacy for the kids. My son appreciates his freedom, and I appreciate being able to worry less. I recommend this highly!

After testing 6 different parental monitoring and control apps, I settled on this one as the most feature complete. I've been using it for a few weeks now and I really like it. It's easy to install and manage. I even had a few questions and the publisher was very responsive.

It doesn't seem to be able to link to my daughters phone! Telling me no child's phone is connected, all set up on child's phone though :-(

Awseome!actually feel safer with my daughter having a phone now.I can block what and when she uses her phone.See where she is at all the time.Set a pararemeter imaginary line around our town so that if she goes beyond her boundries i am notified!I installed this app because of some issues of what she has been doing with her phone and this solved and made me feel so much better and somewhat relaxed when she is out with her teenage friends.Thank you Boomerang great app!Thumbs up guys!

Some issues. When you switch off the screen and switch it back, the app is not monitoring. Need to go to the app which ask again for "authorisation". So basically, the monitoring can easily be passed by.

This is the best parental control app. It gives me and my wife peace of mind when it comes to our two kids. Tried many other apps..and they don't even come to par with this one. The best feauture for us is the cross platform monitoring. It allows us to control their Android phone and iPod Touch

I have evaluated many parental monitoring apps out there over the last 2 years for the Android device and by far this is the best app I have come across.

Excellent control of child devices, comprehensive reporting, flexible - the only parental control app I've seen to explicitly control/monitor Youtube.

I absolutely love it.. Just wish the GPS tracker was a little faster.. But this is the best parental control app I've had :)

This app is the best parental protection app I have found by far. This app gives you complete control of your childs phone as well as locating them at any time. With this app I can control who my kids can call, text, message through any site. I can block apps and extend screen time as well as set timer for the apps to close. My kids hate the app because they cant unistall the app from their phones. I love this app and if i could give it 10 stars i would. Highly recommend!!!!

This is perfect for our family of four. My daughter was quite unhappy with the new restrictions and so she emailed the company. The reply was golden - it was explained in kid-speak how wet musty pretext our kids and that out want personal against her maturity. After our discussion that emailing when mad is not appropriate, she said she understood better the reason for boomerang! Awesome!

This is the best app! The customer service is too notch and I could not be happier with the service. So happy I found them! Safety and security for my son's phone and very easy to use. They answer questions within a very short time period and are so helpful with suggestions, too. Cannot recommend this enough!!! You will not be disappointed!

Started off really good then I had a problem with the app switching off, so i messaged support@nationaledtech.com. They replied pretty much straight away and show me pictures on how to fix my problem as it was a settings issue. It not only fixed the problem but it made me satisfied with the customer service and more comfortable with the product. Strongly recommend this product to anyone that wishes to keep thier kids safe and help them grow up with responsibility. Very happy i even brought the full version very shortly after I downloaded the free trial

So easy to use! I love the find device feature and the messanger. This app is a great tool to limit screne time in the summer! I would recommend it to all families.
