A work of art by Naziha Mestaoui, giving you the possibility to plant a virtual tree that will grow at the rhythm of your heartbeat. The tree will then grow in reality planted in one of 5 reforestation programs around the world, which offers long-term social and environmental results.
1 Heart 1 Tree creates a forest of light on the most famous monuments around the world, and each virtual tree will also grow, using real-time, 3-D mapping to project their tree on the monument, generating a virtual forest at night.
« 1 Heart 1 Tree » the monumental artwork was successfully launched in Paris as part of the United Nations COP21, adorning the Eiffel Tower with beautiful virtual trees for 5 nights in a row. In light of this success, « 1 Heart 1 Tree » will begin an international tour in cities across the world to achieve global impact.
1,3 million people witnessed the Paris event thanks to live streaming technology; the event was also relayed by 135 TV stations around the globe. As a result, 55.000 real trees were planted through reforestation programs, demonstrating that the collaborative monumental artwork achieved its goal of raising citizen engagement and global awareness for the deforestation challenge.

you try to sign in, it'll give you a link in the mail to plant your trees. however, the link is for the website, not for the app. impossible to record your heartbeat since you can only record your heartbeat in the app. even if you try to plant first, and then sign in later, same thing happens. after you recorded your pulse, it'll tell you to sign in which again goes back to the website.
