The information is clearly presented and there are a good range of functions, but it is a very buggy app. On my standard Moto-X 2nd Gen the graphs display sometimes locks up the phone to the point where the only thing I can do is hold the power switch down until the phone reboots. The wind sensor app works on the Moto-X but never gets further than "loading" on a standard Nexus 7 2013. If the app worked reliably it would be a five star app.

Support is nonexistent. Bought a new rain gauge for the station and it eats batteries, service refuses to communicate with me after telling them it was a gift. Edit: Finally heard back from support and they replaced the defective rain gauge under warranty. Contact after that was prompt and helpful. Changed from 1 star to 5 star rating!

App is pretty good but buggy. Widget doesn't work on Android 7 and up. I've contacted support about this numerous times in the last 6 months but nothing happens.

Bought the wind gauge and standard weather station and it does not work. I tried emailing tech support with no response. There is no help available and you can't talk to anybody. How convenient for Netatmo.

Still waiting on previous day states option, total rainfall, etc. Useless having to look at the graph and count it up for the previous day. I want to compare max rainfall and temperature, etc from the previous day. This feature has been requested numerous times on the forum, and we are still waiting. P.S. Widgets don't refresh/ work since latest update. :-(

Functionality is great overall, but suffers from a few ridiculous UX issues. F.ex. the widgets nearly always fail to update automatically, and instead of showing the most recent available data, the widget just says »Failed to connect to NetAtmo. Tap to retry.« Most of the time when i unlock my phone, that is the level of information I am presented with. Android N/Nexus 6p.

I found that the outdoor module always seemed to disappear. Upon investigation I consistently discovered water inside the module even though it had been positioned in a location that was reasonably sheltered. Once the module was dried out it would work fine until the next time. The solution was to fashion a protective cover for the module out of an old boost drink container. Since I have done this even the worst rain storm no longer affects the module and it remains dry internally and no longer disappears. Devin M am experiencing the same issue with the wind gauge - it has just started within the last day. For those with wind guage icon issues remove the wind guage then reinstall - icons will return. There was a firmware upgrade on the 16th of May to version 17, this may have caused the issue - a reinstall corrects the issue

Previously would have given this 5 stars but I am still unable to get my readings using this application on any of my devices. More annoyingly my request for help on the forum has gone unanswered. I still get on demand notifications, weather notifications and can access all readings from the website but this application gets constantly suck at loading

D70%
by D####:

The readings for outdoor temp and rainfall are consistent with other local weather stations. Indoor temp is consistent with a regular thermometer. The android app and web app work well most of the time, so I am pleased with my purchase. I'd like to see the outdoor temp displayed in the android notifications area.

So annoying how the scale changes when scrolling back on the graphs. Really expected much more from the app like multiple variables on the graphs.

The hardware is very flakey. Connecting is hit and miss. Sucks batteries up. A triumph of style over substance, like a lot of stuff designed for Apple. Very expensive. A complete waste of money.

C70%

Ever since the latest update the high and low temperatures for the day are not resetting at the correct time. They used to reset at midnight local time each day. Now they are resetting at 6 PM local time. This needs to be fixed ASAP!

The app has been broken, it is not able to connect to the internet. Pretty fundamental issue, should not have been realeased

First 24 hours with this app and it has drained 30% of my battery. Please look into this. The app itself is good and gives me all the information i want, but I have to uninstall it if this battery drainage is not fixed

Latest update drain battery. App trying to get GPS repeately. Still missing notification history list, notification text is not fully visible in status bar - raised co2 but do not see which room. Graph sometimes display single dot or nothing at all.

C70%
by C####:

Every time when i try to install a new indoor module, it finds it, and asks for the module name. When i try to click on the input field the app closes. Samsung Galaxy S7 edge with most recent firmware. Please correct this bug orherwise the additional module i bought is useless

Hardware is nice, but app isn't there yet. It definitely loses a star for the lack of a permanent notification option. What's the point of an Internet-connected $180 weather station if I still need another (free) app just to see the temperature in my notification bar? Many bugs in the app, too - e.g. can't use keyboard to change rain level in personalized notifications despite app saying you can. Widgets are sparse - can't configure background, so text is impossible to read against light/varied wallpaper.

When the app is open (updated on 2nd November) it constantly tries to get the location of the device, draining the battery. Please fix this.

C70%
by C####:

Needs widget support for 5x1 and 5x2 sizes, since devices like Nexus 6p are 5 icons wide. Either that or allow widget resizing.

C70%
by C####:

Had to revoke Location permission to fix battery drain. But app itself is 4star. Needs a bit more testing/polish

C70%

Works great on my Nexus 7 Rain widgets seem to be broken and not taking data

C70%

The app drains the battery by constantly requesting access to GPS. The only way to stop it is to close the app. Please fix it.

Since setting up my netatamo, I haven't come across any major bugs in the app, it seems stable and does work accurately. However, it's main feature seems to just displaying the local weather forecast from a third party service- (which Google already does on my home screen!). The stats from the device are only current values, with no pretty graphs as promised by the promo video. Overall I think the gadget is nice, but there's so much potential for cool things to do with the data, and this app does nout Thanks for your reply, can now see graphs :) But that wasn't intuitive, still I think more features and user-friendliness could be incorporated

by C####:

Asked Netatmo about high battery usage of outdoor module, simple technical question, Netatmo instead of answer directed me to distributor I bought unit from. Definitely not the way you want to be treated by manufacturer. Wrong answer from manufacturer: "outdoor module battery drain related to Android 5" TOTALLY NOT RELATED it is OUTDOOR unit. BTW I'm using another versions of Android and Windows.

C70%
by C####:

Without display on the hardware, the widgets could play this role, and show graphs or current data efficiently. Instead of this, we have poor widgets, displaying minimalistic information or wasting space, with no choice to use a solid background instead of a transparent one, difficult to read on some wallpapers... Bottom line, widgets need improvement and customization options.

C70%

Problem of auto refresh not working went away... now have permanent weather station running on old tablet... love it!

G70%
by G####:

Notifications have stopped working altogether. * As Netatmo dilutes its attentions into other products and APIs, things are noticeably suffering. Support no longer reply to emails, sending auto replies about delays.
