The 2017 FIFA Beach Soccer World Cup will be the 9th edition of the FIFA Beach Soccer World Cup, the premier international beach soccer championship contested by the men's national teams of the member associations of FIFA. Previous editions before 2005 were not governed by FIFA and were held under the title Beach Soccer World Championships. Overall this will be the 19th edition of the World Cup since its establishment in 1995. This will be the fourth tournament to take place under the biennial basis; the World Cup now takes place once every two years, after taking place on a yearly basis between 1995 and 2009.

FIFA originally started the bidding process in April 2013, whilst in December 2014, the Bahamas were appointed as hosts. The tournament will be played from 27 April to 7 May 2017 in the capital, Nassau. Preliminary qualifying events started in September 2016 and will end in March 2017.

Portugal will be the defending champions.
