Newsy

More central than fox or cnn... the way news should be. The videos are actually news videos not what you see on CNN that you have to read or has nothing to do with the story. Hope Newsy continues to state both sides and would like to be able to turn my phone to see the video full screen.

Someone must have paid for the negative reviews the app runs flawlessly and the unbias is truely unbiased. no cancerous liberal agenda or toxic right just the facts no matter how inconvient they are for special somebodies.

I just wish they would fix the glitches. I support newsy and what they stand for, but the app needs help

Does not work when connected to the Bluetooth speakers. This has been the case for my Nexus 6 and Pixel XL

Been a long time user of this app, however, with the latest Android software on my Google pixel 2 all the app does now is crash when I try to play a video. Can't even get far enough to read the transcripts. Unfortunate but looks like I will be uninstalling very soon barring an update. Issue has been ongoing for months now.

I stream on Roku. If you want to see the same stories week after week after week, then this is the place for you. Apparently not enough news to produce new stories. Not that that should be a problem within our great nation. Gonna HAVE to look for something else. Uninstall while you still can.

News is good, but the app is tremendously glitchy.

I love Newsy. I watch it on my roku too! It's unbiased and keeps you very informed. Only reason Im giving this app 4 stars is because the videos often refuse to load. :/

On note 4 edge. In each update there is another set of new bugs. This time it's straight up crashing right from the start. Before that it was skipping videos from the list. Great content, so there's that.

This app doesn't work when connected to the Google Chromecast. It freezes, crashes, and repeat the videos during playback. I've contacted tech support several times with no response.

This app is just good enough to make you really want it to work. Instead it stalls and freezes the phone and just frustrates you.

This is what I'm talking about. I haven't tried to download this app in 2 years, now that I have; I need to say this app has fixed everything. I used this app in multiple Android phones and tablets and you've done it. This app is faster and a way better user interface. Simply the best.

crashing when attempting to play a video on Galaxy S7 Edge. This app just simply does not work. As of 8/17 app still force closes and does not work.

would be 5 stars all day off I could broadcast the live news feed to my Chromecast like I can what's in my queue....

Does not play video with new Moto force 2. Only works with old phones.

It includes captions in its videos...a must for me.

I really like the format and reporting.

I had Newsy installed a couple of years ago and it was flawless then something happened. I've installed it periodically since then and newsy does the same thing stops running every time I run it and it freezes all the time. I wiped my phone to factory settings to eliminate a conflict with newsy and it still stops running all the time and freezes solid. I have to remove the battery and restart it to get it to do anything. Galaxy note 3. UPDATE!! now a year or so later and a new phone and a android TV box and same old story. I reinstalled app and couldn't get through 1 story and it froze up my phone. same thing on the TV box. This app is just crap.

Must have changed ownership or something completely left biased views... unusable app crashes every time since update, app can't play video on my Moto z on Nougat

Love the content but app doesn't work on my note 5. It works for a video and then doesn't work. Freezes my phone up as well. Design flaws for certain types of media.

Used to be "mostly" unbiased. Last several months have seen them becoming increasingly bias and one-sided. Finally had to give them up.

While the content is great every platform I try to use with newsy is awful. This app is no difference refuses to play some days, other days I have to kill it many times before it works.

This app blows. Do not install. First of all, when you decide to watch a video causes the app crashes. No casting capabilities​ and is very slow.

movie needs to make their app for TV friendly like the Roku app most people nowadays have an Android tv box or two currently very badly lay down for tv tab

Video content rewinds several times part way through a story. Really annoying.

I like it lot. It would be even better if the speakers eliminate their chronic vocal fry issue.

Concise and varied news snippets. Found this app on Roku; liked it so much dl to my phone.

I have used this app daily for several years it is always been the perfect app for me after 1 update about a year ago the first time I click on any video it force closes aside from that no problem. For cheaper end smart phones try optimizing the video load more. Video clips often force close I believe due to load times. My device times out I believe.
