Test subjects needed.

If you are not running regularly, but would like to, continue reading this; it is for you!
We are looking for test participants to test an application that should help novice runners achieve their goals, rather than injuries.

If you start a session and feel that the sound feedback is uncomfortable, please restart the application and then restart the session. We apologize for the inconvenience


What we ask of you
You must not have been running, for exercise, regularly in the last 6 months.

You have to want to run 3 times over a period of 14 days.

You have an Android device running Android OS 4.1 or above, the application is currently not available on other platforms.


What we expect
You will follow the guide below for engaging in the run.


Guide for running
The length of the run should be between 1 km and 2 km (0.6 miles to 1.2 miles).

You should run in a comfortable speed; please do not over extend, you might not be able to finish the test within two weeks if you do.

The route you run should be the same for all three runs, this is crucial for the test.

When you start a run you should start the application, use the start tracking option, and plug your headphones in (there will be no sound on the first run, it is a calibration, you should still use your headphones despite this).

You are free to stop the test at any point, if you don’t feel like you can finish the session or test as a whole.

Permissions
Access Coarse & fine location: In order to get the speed you are moving at, the application needs to access the location service of your phone.

Access internet: After each running session the application will upload the a data log of your latest session, internet access it requires for this

Write storage: After your first run (the calibration run), the application will write down the settings it will need on the next run. Furthermore, during each run the application will also log your speed & accuracy of the GPS

Keep the phone awake: In order to ensure that your phone will keep logging your data even when the screen is off the application needs to use a partial wakelock.
