Work with your child to learn the names of animals and hear the sounds they make. Younger children will love opening the barn doors to find a new animal animation, as they learn about cause and effect and become familiar with animal names and sounds. Older children will enjoy guessing animals by sound, then seeing the animal names, which helps develop early literacy skills.

The speech is not clear enough, and they do not have the cat saying meow. Instead they have it making a licking sound. Come on! Every other animal you have is making a voice sound. Cat is one of the most common a toddler is going to mimic.

Will change to 5stars when speach is fixed. My 15 mth old loves it! The english children have lisps when prounouncing animals names & i have to be there and say it louder over them so my child doent learn the wrong way to say the word.

Like others have stated I think the child's voice is cute but needs to have better pronunciation to be more beneficial. I also wish there was more animals...hope to see an update with more animals very soon. :)

A friend who works with autistic children recommended this, and it is now the favorite of the 1.5 year old I work with. It's one of the few games he's been able to do solo for several months, and while he's speech delayed, he's begun imitating the animal noises and puts his fingers to his lips for "shhh!" when the animals go to sleep. His favorite is the hen and her chick.

My 16 month old daughter loves this game (tied with Sago Mini Friends). It's so simple and a great first app for little ones. One touch opens the barn and there's a new animal every time complete with animation and sound. The children's voices in the app are adorable and I think they make it more fun for her. She usually only has the patience to go one or two times through, but that's perfect for me!
