বাংলাদেশের ৬৪ জেলার ইতিহাস ও মানচিত্র

বাংলাদেশ(Bangladesh ) ৮ টি বিভাগ( division) এবং ৬৪ টি জেলা নিয়ে গঠিত । ১৯৭১ সালে মুক্তি যুদ্ধে এর পর জেলার সংখ্যা ছিল ৬৪ টিতে উন্নীত করা হয় । কিন্তু ১৯৪৭ খ্রিস্টাব্দে পাকিস্তান প্রতিষ্ঠালগ্নে পূর্ব পাকিস্তান তথা বর্তমান বাংলাদেশের জেলার সংখ্যা ছিল ১৮ টি। প্রতিটি জেলায় সরকারী কর্মকর্তা নিযুক্ত থাকে তারা বিভিন্ন সরকারি কাজ সম্পাদন করে থাকে । জেলা প্রশাসক বা ডেপুটি কমিশনারকে জেলার প্রধান সরকারি প্রতিনিধি । সধারনত প্রতিটি জেলারই রয়েছে কিছু নিজস্বতা। এবং রয়েছে তাদের নিজ নিজ জেলার নামের রহস্য, খাবার(recipe ) ও দর্শনীয় স্থান ধর্মীয়(religious ) স্থান ।
