Notepad ++ for Android

Couldn't even try it. Interrupted me with an add first and then with a request fore rating it. Here we go: This app is a pollution to the app store and has nothing to do with Notepad++ which is my favourite desktop editor. A total waste of time and ruined my desire to look for more...

First a full page ad with a very obscure close button. Then, can't run it unless you give them a 5 star rating. If you click no, it just pops it back up after a minute or two and is unusable. Don't waste your time.

Wouldn't even start. I've used Notepad ++ on other platforms for years, but this was a big disappointment. Is this even the real thing? I assumed so because of the logo, but now I'm not sure.

Not Notepad++ more like a bad version of Notepad. The only thing it can do it creating, opening and editing files within itself. No opening files created on your computer or anything. No saving files so you transfer them to your computer and open them there. No programming language selection. If it was just called Notepad.

Hoping to code on the go? Think again. Definitely not what you are looking for. Blasted with forced ads and malware. Horrible app ethics! DO NOT INSTALL

If you think the little green lizard makes this app have ANYTHING to do with the beloved Windows version of Notepad++, you are in for a rude surprise. The first thing this app does is spam you with ads asking you to install other apps and rate it. Be careful what you ask for. One star.

Very archaic in it's design, but it does the job that it requires. You save your content or switch windows for a second and you're automatically brought back to the top of your document, forcing you to scroll down to the spot you left off. Very annoying. Also, the ads are annoying.

Behaves like malware. Adds bombarding the user when just trying to evaluate. This is NOT the well regarded Note++ application available as an Open Source tool. I am deleting it.

To many adds. Bad first experience with a poorly designed interface. Nothing like the notedpad++ work computers.

I'd never dream of using anything else!! I hadn't actually used the Android client yet... But I can't imagine that it's anything but great.

I love the app. on the PC, but this app. is a pain and does not have the functionality as the PC version. The app. is o.k., but there are way too many ads. I am uninstalling it due to all the ads.

They demand 5 stars from me before I can even use it a few times! And Ad city! I think I smell trouble . . .

Got blasted with an ad right away. After dismissing the ad I was immediately asked to give five stars. It's been removed. I really hope this is not related to the great desktop Notepad++ which I love.

This is NOT notepad++! This is an attempt to play off the popularity and success of another very well developed app with someone else's time and financial investment. This developer should be banned, if not sued, at the very least!

Ridden with ads, a disgrace to the amazing PC counterpart of this app. Absolute trash, they must've rented out quite a few click-farms to get as high a rating as they did.

Has nothing to do with Notepad++ that's based on the desktop version. Spammed with ads right from launch, asking for 5 star rating. Garbage!

I emailed the developer and website owner of notepad++ and he replied that this app was not authorized to use the logo. While the real notepad++ software is open source and GPL, the logo is not and the owner is now seeking remedy.

You never know where the file is saved too many adds, I don't have problems with them, but at least do the things right.

This is CLICK BAIT playing on Notepad++ for PC's good name. Ads are way over the top...

Definitely not the Notepad++ I was expecting. Naively thought it was the same as the PC program. Ah well I live and learn. If it is the same people who do Notepad++ for the PC - what the he'll were you thinking!!!

Flagged as inappropriate. User portraying his app as the real notepad++ by stealing the logo of the original notepad and code source editor!!

Terrible. Not even remotely the same quality as the windows app. Really throws notepadd++ name away. Ads and forced message for rating and no landscape view for tablet.

Tricky name. Nothing like the desktop Notepad++ code editor.

This app doesn't do anything besides save your footnotes and spam you with ads. Not good at all for HTML.

2 ads right when I open it, and then asking to rate it 5 stars before I try it. When I tried to look at files on the system, not only did the system not allow it as an option like the apps cousin in Windows, but I couldn't even navigate to the files I wanted to open. This app is hurting the Notepad ++ brand.

As per other users, I was hit with multiple ads and then demanded that I give it 5 stars. So one star for infuriating users and immediate uninstall! Apart from stealing the name and icon, this app doesn't appear to be related to the great pc app of the same name.

I just installed this so I can give you 1 star review. Shame on you for stealing the name and icon of the REAL Notepad++. For any other users thinking about installing this: don't. It FORCES you to give it 5 stars before you can use it, that's the only reason this app has so many "good" reviews. Shame on the devs, I hope you get the hell sued out of you.

Too many ads. Does not open a source file. Not colored. Just plain notepad.

Ive never felt support from a relationship, childhood friend, parents even.. But an app that knows when to keep its mouth shut and let me vent is extacy on my blue and yellow purple hills

I just downloaded it yesterday, it is so much better than the note app from Samsung!

I just dont like the fonts. But in terms of utility, you can count on it...

Does not look like notepad++, just looks like a "you won a iPad" app
