About Release Date Reminder - New Movies DVDs TV & Games
Never forget another upcoming movie, DVD/BluRay, TV show season premier, or game release with this quick and easy to use app. Simply search for the release you want to be reminded of and click the plus button to be reminded in advance of the release date.
NOTE: Due to one of my API providers removing their service, the app does not provide album releases or DVD at this time. I am working to find and integrate a new API for those releases and will update when I do.
The free version of the app includes in-theater upcoming movie releases, upgrade to the pro version to unlock TV show season premiers, and games!
Pro version also removes ads and includes the ability to automatically scan your saved releases and update their release dates if a release date changes.
It takes only seconds to add a reminder and the app has a dark theme so it is perfect for use in the movie theater right after an interesting trailer has finished. Simply pull up the app and quickly set a reminder before the next trailer has even started.
From the browse section you can filter results from the title, artist, or game platform when applicable.
Search for a past or future release of any type from the search screen.
Review your saved reminders and delete those you no longer want, from both the app and your calendar.
From the settings you can choose how many months of upcoming releases you want to load, how many days before the release you want to be reminded, and which calendar account to use.
Release data can be refreshed manually, or will be refreshed upon opening the app on WiFi after one week.
Game release date platforms include: PS3, PS4, XboxOne, Xbox 360, PC, iOS, Vita, and Wii-U releases.
Note: Once downloaded, all data is saved locally offline, so you can still set reminders without an internet connection!

I paid for premium and when I go to DVDs it gets stuck at downloading 0%and won't download.

Purchased the pro version for access to the DVD/Blu-ray content, but it will not load any results. Please fix the app, this could be a great resource for me personally if it functioned as expected. I'd rather have the app working than have my money refunded but if it doesn't get fixed I will issue a charge back and delete the app.

I just paid to see the dvd section and it does not load. After the app developer fixed my issue there is now another problem where it ask to pay to upgrade after I have uninstalled the app and reinstalled it. Good try bud hope you get a chance to fix the issues

Needs more robust settings to let me choose what I get notified about or see in a feed. For instance I only really need DVD releases and PC Game releases, so seeing those in one feed and nothing else would be great.

I was fine paying the $0.99 for video game tracking, because that's what I got it for, but I'm not fine with the part where the app doesn't work. It crashes almost every time I click on a search result and when it doesn't it just loads the page for the game on Giant Bomb, which gives you no option for tracking that game's release (obviously). You really need to fix this app.

Yeah it's useful, but so far it has not once reminded me, manually yes, but never automatic. May be just me, but failed at reminders :) yeah it's never shown up in the calendar, and yeah I have set reminders.

This is bad, the only thing available is movies in theatre, and to use the rest, dvd/blue ray, games and albums, you need to pay premium, ill just go check the release dates on internet instead of wasting money on that.

Quickly add remainders. Could you add an option to use the app built in calender, I really don't want to use my personal one. Prefetching images while every 12 hours would be a handy feature instead of waiting for it to load while the app opened.

This is such a great app! I know that I could have just written these things down or added them to my calendar, but that seems to be beyond me whereas my track record is a thousandfold better with this app. Plus it's hella convenient. Mos def worth the download.

As a TV shows enthusiastic follower sometimes it's hard to keep up with the dates in which the new episodes come out. This app helps you with that, and it's not only restricted to TV shows, you can also track games or movies. Great!!

It is a good app. Now nothing can be missed. There are some bugs also, when I open TV show tab it crashes while downloading data. Although I love the app so I gave it 5 stars.
