Huge ads on every page. Not sure a yearly subscription should include this much advertising.

What does the tagline below the stars "For an Older Version" refer to? I see under most negative reviews. My comments are NOT for an older version! I have an android tablet running jelly bean and I downloaded the most recent app. like to download the day's issue first thing in the morning then read on the subway. Half the content now needs an Internet connection. Photos now need to download. I guess I could try to guess which content needs a connection before I leave the house. Too much of a pain

This update is now formatted to my new Android tab and I will renew my subscription which ends next week. I can now read the articles as they appear in the printed version. Great job.

H70%
by H####:

Hard to believe the Post could take such a huge step backwards, going from an outdated app to one that's pretty much completely unusable. The idea, after all, is to be able to read the paper. How could the editors have allowed this? Please roll back to the old app until you get this right.

X70%
by X####:

I had actually canceled my subscription because the old app could not handle the Android update. The new app follows the actual format of the paper. It now displays the videos (no big deal). But it also now has all the sports stats, which were missing in the previous app. I would have appreciated a "heads up" that this upgrade was in the works. Customer service is absolutely horrible. But, bottom line, they got the job done.

Can't read it. Small print & when you enlarge you can't scroll to see the rest of the page. I will not be renewing. Who thought this was an improvement?

C70%

The new app is just as bad as the original... don't waste your time... Poorly thought out.. no intuitiveness whatsoever. annoying to read.. No zoom function.. pages still don't stay where you want them to.. total junk

X70%
by X####:

All the reviews are true the app is horrible. Don't waste your time or money. Tying to get help is like talking to a robot, canned script after canned script.

X70%

Can't read stories because pictures are placed over text also articles do not always scroll to end of article

I paid 10.00 for a 30 days subscription. I dont have a problem with the format; I think is fine and well developed. My problem with this app is the fact that since I bought it 13 days ago it has crashed twice. (Samsung Galaxy 10.1 tablet). The first day it crashed, I removed the app and reinstalled it, clear the memory and cache, reset my tablet etc. Nothing worked. Everytime I click (touched ) the app to start it; it would crash. Next day the application worked like magic. Today the same thing that occurred last week its happening again. It would not open. For a paid subscription app. I think the people at NYP should be more responsible to keep track of bugs and update the app often. I am very disappointed with this app, and as soon as my subscription is over im planing to remove it. I called google play and they direct me to NYP customer service. You can only reach NYP by email, they responded but they did not help a bit.

Was this made with Adobe Air? The UI is horrible. The page doesn't fit left to right on my TF700 tablet.

X70%
by X####:

I committed myself for a 6-month subscription, and I love the paper. But today, and for about 5 times in the past 3 weeks, the paper doesn't work. There's something imbedded in the files that make the app crash. It has problems with just particular issues, but that is very frustrating, especially if I pay for it. I've emailed the post, but they responded like it was the 1st time I've used this app. They were no help at all. I hope it works again tomorrow, I've never mad an outage for more than one day at a time. Now who's going to reimburse me for the individual hard copies of the paper that I had to buy at $1 a piece???

C70%
by C####:

I love the post, it's the only paper I read so when this app came out I got the subscription, this app can be great it just really needs to be fixed a bit. Too many bugs, always crashes, or stays frozen on the red NY POST startup screen. I've had to uninstall and reinstall the app quite a few times. Please fix this app for guys like me that pay to use it.

Z70%
by Z####:

Please add support for the Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4. The formatting is way off. Three pages are smashed into one and are not readable. Maybe the 2500 × 1600 resolution is throwing it off.

H70%
by H####:

The content is great, it feels like reading a paper. But the ap is buggy and is never fixed. It stops almost every time the tablet sleeps or changes to landscape. I am amazed that this can not be fixed.

S70%
by S####:

This app has a ton of viruses don't install it. The new York post is full of crap and has stupid journalist's and editors who base there articles on a few story's that go around on messages DO NOT TOUCH NEW YORK POST APP AND NEWS PAPER

B70%
by B####:

Finally an update a year later. Problem is it still doesn't work. Stat city does not work. Force close continues. So what exactly did you update? There have been problems with this app ever since it hit Google Play. Months later the same problems still do not work and after two weeks of trying to speak to someone they can only tell me we know the same problems exists and we have no idea when the will be fixed. I guess you should expect this from a Rupert Murdoch company. Bottom line is all that counts. Amazing no update in almost a year yet the app doesn't work properly. Really shameless.

P70%
by P####:

This is not journalism. This paper is indecent and immature They use catchy titles based on bathroom humor to get people's attention to sell papers. A recent front page was as a picture of a hasidic Jewish man. In big letters it said "WHO DIDN'T WANT TO KILL HIM?" this is irresponsible. I thought only in Nazi Germany would such a headline occur. Please respect yourself and do not download this app.

S70%

Paid for service. GOOGLE accepts and bills you. Go back to app and it says you need to subscribe yours is expired. DO NOT SUBSCRIBE! DO NOT USE!

K70%

this article written by the NY Post is very anit-semitic. It is only posting negative comments about the Jewish people

G70%
by G####:

Disgusting antisemitic reporting. Don't even have decency to apologise.

S70%
by S####:

And so is its contents. In particular the story on this guy that was killed uses very inapproprate langauge, you can tell that this paper/app is all about ratings non content. Not recommended

S70%
by S####:

The app is horrible.and the NYP who send stuff to it are even worse. Waste of space on your device and the play store.

S70%
by S####:

Shame there is no ZERO STARS, cause that is what this app deserves.
