ألفية ابن مالك هي متن يضم غالب قواعد النحو والصرف العربي في منظومة شعرية يبلغ عدد أبياتها تسعمائة وثمان وثمانون بيتا على وزن بحرالرجز أو مشطوره.
حظيت ألفية ابن مالك بقبول واسع لدى دارسي النحو العربي، فحرصوا على حفظ ألفية بن مالك وشرحها أكثر من غيرها من المتون النحوية، وذلك لما تميزت به ألفية ابن مالك من التنظيم، والسهولة في الألفاظ، والإحاطة بالقواعد النحوية والصرفية في إيجاز، مع ترتيب محكم لموضوعات النحو، واستشهاد دقيق لكل واحد من هذه المواضيع.
