Not all audio works during a read through, yet its all there because it plays when you highlight a sentence. Slightly off putting but otherwise a good app.

Does not work on Samsung Galaxy Tab S2. Animations are broken and the tops and bottoms of images are cut off, including text.

The app does a great job of relaying the story while making it feel like Dr Seuss approved it himself.

I was going to read this to my class on my wifi tablet, but I was not allowed to because I didn't have an internet connection to re-verify the license. Bad company!

The app. Focus page mentioned that we would get all 4 short stories with this the only got the first one "The Sneetches". Where are "The Zax", "To Many Dave's", and "What as I Afraid of"? They are missing. In the paper copy all 4 story stories are included.

Why does the description say that it includes four stories? This collection NEEDS to be together. All 4 have a common theme and belong together. False advertising. FOLLOW UP COMMENT: I emailed Oceanhouse about this. They offered me a refund, which is ok, but I asked for a credit for a different app. They claim they can't do that. They also said, "This was a mistake made by Google." I don't believe that. I told them so. They replied, "I am not sure how the mixup occurred." Why blame Google? Why would Google be entering the description for your app? I wasn't really annoyed, until he started assigning blame to others, assuming I'd be dumb enough to believe him. I notice the description has been changed today, so now these comments look unfounded. There's an easy way to save face; add the other stories as an update. These four belong together

The description is false saying there are four short stories in one. There is only one story.

These are great versions of the Seuss books. My kids love the interactive features. For those conncerned about the internet connection requirement or the possibility the kids will purchase more books, just download a content manager app that will allow the book to function without giving the kids access to the browser or store.

The description on the Dr. Seuss sale page clearly states, "A wonderful collection of four short stories touching on acceptance, following your heart and the value of empathy." Where are the other stories? Only the Sneetches is included. This is false advertising.

These are wonderful! Please consider building an app for The Butter Battle Book - our favorite, and so applicable in our world.

This app is gorgeous, great, and a near-perfect interpretation of the Dr. Seuss book. My daughter loves it, as do I. So for all of this, it'd easily deserve 6 stars. I'm substracting 5 though, since it's completely missing out on a very crucial point: The targeted age group is not what I'd give free Internet access to, nor would I give it free internet access coupled with the carte blanche access over their parents credit card. This however is exactly what Oceanhouse Media is enforcing by refusing to let this application (targeted at children between 4 and 14) to run at all without internet access! I have collected the books, and I would love to buy the interactive applications, but as long as I am kept from using what I paid for, I cannot and will not do so, and I can't recommend it either.

This is my favorite Dr. Seuss book. There are several great stories for this book that should be made like this one.

I personally always loved Dr. Suess, and now whenever we go places I can just pull out my tablet and my son is entertained, he absolutely loves this!

For less than the actual book you get an audio version and interactive features. Even if you read it yourself the background noises are a nice touch.
