A Cooperativa Paulista de Teatro e O Megafone


Em maio de 1979 alguns artistas que trabalhavam com produção coletiva se reuniram para discutir a necessidade de uma organização, e em Agosto do mesmo ano fundaram a Cooperativa Paulista de Teatro.

A experiência foi bem sucedida, com grupos representativos fazendo seus trabalhos de uma forma legal e totalmente nova. Os seis primeiros anos foram de intenso trabalho. A partir de 1993 a Cooperativa intensificou seus trabalhos oficializando todas as suas relações e documentações, erguendo uma infra-estrutura sólida e respeitada.

Reunir artistas e técnicos criando condições para o exercício de suas atividades, produzir, dar condições de difusão, estabelecer contratos, convênios, representar os seus associados, individual ou coletivamente, promover cursos, debates e seminários, esses são alguns de nossos objetivos. A produção em grupo é à base da criação teatral e a Cooperativa existe em função dos propósitos materiais e conceituais para fortalecer esse segmento da produção teatral. Seus trabalhos já marcaram capítulo especial na história do teatro brasileiro com prêmios que comprovam a qualidade dos grupos associados.A Cooperativa Paulista de Teatro conta hoje com cerca de 800 núcleos e 3800 associados, respondendo pela maior parte da produção artística teatral do Estado, contando com companhias das mais diversas linguagens e com amplo reconhecimento de sua excelência cultural. Hoje a CPT é referência em todo o Brasil em trabalho cooperativado para a área artística.

Com quase 37 anos de atividade, a Cooperativa agora mergulha no mundo virtual para trazer à tona um espaço real de discussão e divulgação de trabalhos.

Este portal e seu aplicativo representam um passo da Cooperativa Paulista de Teatro - mas também de todos os artistas da cena do Estado de São Paulo - no sentido de encontrar o público por outras vias que, no tempo de hoje, são tão fundamentais quanto a via presencial. A disputa dos espaços da mídia e do pensamento em nossa sociedade, buscando sempre a verticalização das pesquisas e do diálogo, seguem sendo a característica mais marcante da entidade.

In May 1979 some artists who worked with collective production met to discuss the need for an organization, and in August of the same year founded the Paulista Cooperative Theatre.

The experiment was successful, with representative groups doing their jobs in a legal and totally new way. The first six years were hard work. Since 1993 the Cooperative has intensified its work officializing all its relations and documentations, raising a solid and respected infrastructure.

The group production is the base of theatrical creation and the Cooperative is a function of the material and conceptual purposes to strengthen this segment of the theatrical production.
