Originally my review was 4 stars in 2015. After more than a year still no exchange functionality. The default Android email app has exchange functionality but K-@Mail still doesn't. Exchange is coming they said, but so is the next Ice Age!

Can't seem to fetch outlook mail anymore. I tried aqua and Kaiten. Both fetch it just fine. Have sent multiple emails to support on other issues with no response. Starting to regret buying this app. Will be uninstalling and looking elsewhere. You should too.

Q70%
by Q####:

(Update) Be careful with this app. Last update was 7/2016. Does not work well with doze mode - auto sync. Also has issues with imap set ups. Needs an update bad. Seems there is no support? Is this app dead?

M70%
by M####:

****version 1.15**** This WAS a great program until android 7.0. this email client does not deal with "doze" at all on my S7. Since the "update" my phone will not give me an email notification unless I manually refresh my folders. Pretty useless for a mail client. Was MUCH better before the android update. Please fix this

The app is still unstable when running on a Galaxy S7 running 6.0.1 it does not handle syncing well, it takes MINUTES when trying to do something. It is still a bit buggy when trying to set up Gmail accounts also. We have 3 accounts for our family, 1 went in automatically and the other two fail. Not only do they fail auto setup they fail manual setup also. I know the settings are correct because they work fine with another app.

For a few years, K-@ Mail Pro (paid version) was my favorite e-mail app. However, recently I encountered a problem where the app wasn't auto-checking for incoming mail, even though my app setting was to poll for mail every 5 minutes and all other phone settings are correct. I reached out to tech support at 1gravity LLC. I received an automated response that my support request was received. After about a week, I reached out to them again, but have received absolutely response from them. With any app that I use, being able to get support from the developer is important, but apparently 1gravity LLC doesn't care about it's paying customers. As a result, I am looking for a different e-mail package. Very disappointed with 1gravity.

AFTER A YEAR AND NO RESPONSE I Am downgrading my 4 stars to 3. My original question: I would like to ask the creator how or if you can move files between folders. How can I move from trash back to inbox? I also would like to create my own folders. The help section is poor. You must improve this.

M70%
by M####:

Good program, clean and easy to use. NO WAY TO BACKUP EXISTING DATA. Not settings, the emails themselves. If you change phones often this isn't a good app, as you'll loose all of your emails every time.

M70%
by M####:

It seems to work perfectly on my Samsung tab 2. It's much better than anything else I've tried. 8/25/17 update: for the last few weeks the app has been crashing regularly, and is becoming useless. An email to the developer asking if the app is still supported didn't receive any response. As it now stands, I'm looking for a replacement.

M70%
by M####:

has this app been abandoned? emails not syncing on android 7.1, battery optimization has been turned off, same issue as in k9 mail. App has not been updated for over a year now. app is basically useless now

M70%
by M####:

Paid for it. It never worked well. Since I moved to a Galaxy Note 8 push notifications stopped working. Lost a lot of important work. And it's getting worse.

M70%
by M####:

Apparently devs don't care about this app any longer. I've emailed them 3 times work no response. Cannot get AOL mail anymore. And I paid for this app. Very disappointing. I'm off to look for a new app. ????

M70%
by M####:

Basic solid email program with a few problems I can't overlook. The scroll bar has an accelerator that just gets in the way. Why is it so difficult to reply all in an email. Keeping it for now but I will probably move on..

M70%
by M####:

Bought this thinking I could import- export my settings as shown in the utube video but the buttons that control this are non- existing. I emailed them but never received a response so there customer service is also non existing. If I can not import or export settings I would like a refund!

Will not automatically fetch mail, Moto Z Force Droid with Nougat 7.0. Automated response from developer weeks after submitting it, with link to inactive website. No support and am planning to switch to K-9 unless issue is resolved or at least addressed.

M70%
by M####:

An otherwise outstanding app, unusable to me do to lack of any attempt to manage SPAM. Too bad.

L70%
by L####:

UPDATE - switched phones and app ceases to fetch email on a schedule any more. Actually liked this app until the most recent update. I no longer can receive email.

S70%
by S####:

I just paid for and downloaded this app, and I do like the color coded accounts, as well as the battery saving dark theme, but it does not poll or retrieve my emails reliably. I usually have to do it manually, which defeats it's purpose. I've read that it's some sort of conflict with Nougant OS. EDIT: After white listing K9 on the power saving list, and changing the polling and Idle setting to 24 minutes, it appears to be working now. Though I'm not sure why the whitelisting would help, as the power saving was turned off for all apps already.

Just set up PGP and I keep getting an error message whenever I open an encrypted e-mail: "PGP/MIME messages are not supported yet."

M70%

Update the app to be compatible with latest Android and stop replying to feedback. Idiot.

M70%
by M####:

Since upgrading Android to Nougat, the app has become buggy and laggy, often freezing.

W70%

UPDATE: no updates, no improvement, what happened to that greate app? no more working email rec. I have to manually update the folders, since android 8 the mail list ist written in pink :(( I really liked that app so far, please keep up with it. Seems the App is DEAD :(

M70%
by M####:

K-9 Mail is just better and it's free. For example, with k@mail you can't delete an email from notification on Android 7.1.1.

M70%
by M####:

Need a way to export settings. Apparently, there was a function for that in previous versions, but it has been left out of current version.

X70%

This app didn't show me new emails in live time, and I put the app notifications in the highest level, very bad, I couldn't for this reason watch unrecognized charges alerts from the bank in the real life time, I have known many hours later when I enter manually in the app, im not recommended

M70%
by M####:

Constant doze issues on Nougat, no update in 10 months.

Really used to love this little mail app, but as of lately it's been really buggy, sad to let it go.... :..-(

Why am I paying for one app and not the other when they are the same versions with same features as far as I can tell

S70%

Pretty nice and handy mail app, i've been using it since i retired K-9. Very stable and easy interface, nothing too fancy, just what you need in a mail app. However since Android 6.0.1 my captions on the shortcut widgets to my individual mailboxes keeps vanishing at random whenever i need to restart my tablet. It would also be very nice and handy to be able to add a mail address or even a domain to a spam list, since spam filtering isn't really a strong point. I'm glad my mailserver does most of that or I'd be in spam hell with some mail addresses that have been around since the early 90's. But nice work and keep on going! Give me some serious spam options and i'll change this to 5 stars without hesitation.

L70%
by L####:

I just have a few requests can you make it so it doesn't eat up my battery? It has used 40% of my battery today! Also please let us turn off the "Idle Connection" or give us more time than 60 minutes? How about making it so we can turn it off or extend it to 2, 4, or 6 hours? Oh yeah, I don't have any icons at the top so I can backup the settings! This needs to be fixed ASAP! Give me some answers & a few changes and you will get 5 stars (you already got my money)

Like K9 it presents information in an intuitive form without silly gimmicks designed to attract the frivolous. Also like K9 it allows full and easy control. It has all the facilities that K9 lacks - printing for example - and has smoothed out K9's rough edges. It allows alias addresses for custom domains. It does not jeopardise security or snoop by downloading emails to its own server. Only glitch noted so far is that Openkeychain password cannot be entered a second time without using a task killer.

I am using this application for several years, and I was very satisfied. Lately, the app is woking slowly and making errors all the way. Several times in the day it shutdowns, I've sent many reports and didn't received any feedback.

W70%
by W####:

Does its job without being really there. Misses a way to manage spam, like most non cloud clients. The widget shows new mails but when you try to see the mail, it disappears from the account. I have lost dozens of jobs or important mails that way. They pop up again eventually...but it's too late. Paid for it; not quite happy. Not reliable for professional use. PS: the UI needs a redesign. It looks old.

I've tried to find descent email app that suits my needs for a long time. No luck until now. Thank you for being a cut above the rest.

I am liking apps very hard but this is really the best email client for the smartphones. Everything is customizable and useful. Thank you for your effort.

S70%
by S####:

Been using this for years, worked with no issues. As of last week no longer polls, can only retrieve emails manually. Emailed Support and have yet to hear back time to find another email client

S70%
by S####:

Really good replacement for K-9 Mail, with a straight forward set up procedure. If you want to only have mail checked 'on demand' for an IMAP account, ensure that you set 'Push Folders' to 'None' in the 'Fetching Mail' options menu for your e-mail account.

I really do like this app, it's just a shame there's no spam filter included.
