About Blogging

Blogging app will get you going to build a great blog to make money online or have a blog just for fun or information.

Learning how to blog is easy and you do not need to be an IT expert.

So, you want to start a blog huh? Great idea!

But ... how the heck do you get started? There's so much info out there on the web, and everyone's telling you to do different things. Who do you listen to? Where's the starting point?

Damnit, maybe you should just forget it - it's too confusing!

Well, hold up. I used to be a blogging newbie too. I had the same problems. I started my blog (BloggingBasics101.com) way back in 2006, and I knew all about blogging. In fact it was only the week before I'd learned what a blog was.

Now I know a ton about them, and my blog's doing pretty well - I receive more than 300,000 unique visitors per month which makes me consider myself. I'm not sure what to do.

I promise it'll be simple, relatively easy, and definitely easy to understand (no stupid jargon). Sound good?

Awesome, let's move on.

A blog (a truncation of the expression weblog) is a discourse or informational website published on the World Wide Web of the discrete, often informal diary-style text entries ("posts"). Posts are typically displayed in reverse chronological order, so that the most recent post appears, at the top of the web page. Until 2009, blogs were usually the work of a single individual, occasionally of a small group, and often covered a single subject or topic.

In the 2010s, "multi-author blogs" (MABs) have developed, with posts written by large numbers of authors and sometimes professionally edited. MABs from newspapers, other media outlets, universities, think tanks, advocacy groups, and similar institutions.

The rise of Twitter and other "microblogging" systems helps integrate MABs and single-author blogs into the news media. Blog may also be used as a verb, meaning to maintain or add content to a blog.

Before blogging became popular, digital communities took many forms, including Usenet, commercial online services such as GEnie, Byte Information Exchange (BIX) and the early CompuServe, e-mail lists, and Bulletin Board Systems (BBS).

In the 1990s, Internet forum software, created running conversations with "threads". Threads are topical connections between messages on a virtual "corkboard". From 14 June 1993, Mosaic Communications Corporation maintained their "What's New" list of new websites, updated daily and archived monthly. The page was accessed by a special "What's New" button in the Mosaic web browser.
