Amsler Grid

I've been needing to check my eyes. Since I haven't been able to see my optometrist yet, I've been using these at home charts to check my acuity. Within the last month, I've noticed a significant change in vision. This chart has pinpointed what issue I'm having. I have 2 small dark, distorted spots just off to the side of the little dot. I've been noticing it's been harder to see certain things, and night vision has gone bad. Now I'll be making a better effort to see my optometrist for a full retinal exam.

This app is super simple to use and guides me through the test so I do it right every time. Works great and is just the tool I need for checking my vision. Simple, easy interface.

This app is simple and requires no extra permissions, which I appreciate. My eye doctor found it helpful that I'd used this and reported the results to her when making an appointment for an issue I was having.

I tried one with voice instructions and decided I would hate it quickly. There ought to be an option to skip instructions. Rotation should be enabled.

I would never let this replace my eye doctor but it allows me to confidently check any changes daily with my condition and report immediately to my provider- i always have my phone with me- i don't always have the card she gave me to use!

Instructions forgot that THIS Amsler grid is self illuminated on a computer, and not printed on paper.

I read that this is a useful test to take at home to spot changes when taking hydroxychloroquine for rheumatoid arthritis. I have annual optician checks but this could pick up changes early

It uses the recording chart rather than the test. It should be a white grid on a black background
