I got this to replace the Amcrest Pro app which will no longer connect with the camera. This wasn't working either but after I adjusted my port forwarding it does. Even works away from my home off Wi-Fi. The only problem is that it's very slow to connect.

Useless since I can't get it to work remotely with Amcrest ProHD. Works only at home on WiFi with limited functionality. No motion detection alerts or snapshots. False advertising - NOT for Amcrest. Uninstalled.

UPDATE: This app is specifically for Amcrest cameras but it stopped working for my IP3M camera although it still shows my Foscam cameras. I notified OWLR that the app was broken but it hasn't been fixed. So I downgraded my review from 5 stars to one star since it doesn't accomplish its stated purpose. ORIGINAL 5 STAR REVIEW: Works better than Amcrest's own app on both phone and tablet. Supports Foscam as well as Amcrest, making this the only app I need. Configures both LAN and remote access in one step.

Don't waste your time and money. Wish I would have checked app ratings prior to buying one of their cameras. Says connection successful then when I try live view it says connection failed. Forget calling tech help as they were worthless too.

So much easier to setup than Amcrest software, zoom in ability is closer than Amcrest, but do not offer much beside just for viewing.

Doesn't work. Initially it detected my Amcrest cameras but recommended I upgrade the firmware. Once I upgraded the firmware it no longer detected the cameras and I can't add them manually.

Trying to get my Wansview with this app on manual mode in the app but cant find my wansview in auto mode

While this app does not have all the features of the Amcrest Pro app, the Android version has the essentials (camera pan/tilt & night vision toggle) and the interface is faster and cleaner. My wife has an iPhone and unfortunately the ios version does not offer the same level of integration (i.e. no camera controls). So of you are a mixed phone platform house, be aware that ios users may still need to use the Amcrest app if they wish to do anything more than view the camera stream.
