Instant-upload doesn't work with Android 7, sad for a paid app, even on the latest version (29-05-2017)

App worked for about 3 days and instant upload stopped working. Very upset about this. Great app when it's working. Owncloud needs to work on this app more. Several other people have the same problem and nothing has been done especially if it's a paid app. Debating trying to ask for a refund. App is useless if instant upload doesn't work.

Definitely needs a select all button when uploading from DCIM folder. Auto upload only works for images taken that day. I only turn the server on occasionally so have lots failed upload attempts. I would like the option to only auto upload over a specific (home) wifi and also to prompt because there is no point attempting the upload if I know the server is off.

Sorry but I was used more a year and was work but now is 3 month when come nougat and 3 month no one care there is not work instant update automatically. That is and update and still didn't work for LG v20 and galaxy s7 this device was reported 3 month ago and still didnt work. When you fix it I change thit review but now is not useble for me.

I love the idea of running my own server for file sharing and syncing. Support for automatically uploading images from the camera broke a while ago and it doesn't seem like it will be fixed anytime soon.

Freezes Completely unresponsive. App is totally frozen. How is it even possible to achieve such incompetent programming in 2017? (oh, ok, it's incompatible with screen overlay, such as redlight...)

Completely useless for viewing on tablets. Also takes forever to load an image on a gigabit lan. Web browser is faster.

Instant upload doesn't work in nougat. Only reason I bought this app. *Update a few months later - Still broken...

App works well, but last 2 versions crash when I try to open a directory.

Instan upload not working, to be precise no camera upload is working after my Samsung Note 5 got android 7.0 upgrade.

Doesn't seem to be able to see my SD card, so instant upload doesn't work.

I get "malformed server configuration".. useless, with ftp works much better, removed!

Please fix instant upload. It stopped working after I upgraded to Android 7.

Sync's everything locally and destroys my tablet's storage. Doesn't allow for SD storage for cache. Just a very stupidly simple cloud sync.

It is a shame that the app seems to be hit by critical bugs for some. I say a shame as the server is really rather good. Since the last update the client just freezes when opening. Cannot do anything with it. Update: the app still freezes for some unknown reason, other times it works fine (80/20 in favour of freezing).

Really disappointed with the app due to the following: (1) it crashes all the time.. like literally all. the. time. (2) it doesn't sync files when they're changed via phone (3) after downloading some files to the phone, they just disappeared from the cloud. Concluding, there are severe stability and robustness issues, while necessary features are missing.

ownCloud is perhaps one of the very best Open Source projects to date... Though it is important to note that much of its functionality depends of how you implement ownCloud (e.g. How much space you allocate, the infrastructure and hosting you utilize, etc). In saying this, the official Android application for ownCloud looks great and seems to work well, leaving little reason to look at other "cloud" storage solutions, particularly if you're concerned about privacy and security... Very highly recommended.
