As an instructor who does their courses all online, this is not at all helpful in making my paperwork more efficient. No elearning app, no easy to buy online course shop, nothing is connected, laid out or intuitive. Really disappointing. Other agencies have far better apps. Make a padi pro app that streamlines buying and sending courses to students, elearning and own info. Please! ❤️

K70%
by K####:

Very poor app, with dead links and seems like i am unable to log my dives. for such a large, global company, this is simply not fit for purpose. Furthermore, charging $45.00 US for an ecard after the overpriced training global course is simply ridiculous. You attract more flies with honey than vinegar boys!

G70%
by G####:

I thought the ecard would be a good idea... But paying for a digital copy of a certification I already have? What are you guys smoking over there? I can take a photo of my card and it is literally the same thing. Big ol' nope from me!

K70%
by K####:

Unfortunately as bad as the reviews say. I mainly wanted the multi dive planner to work but when i select the eRDpml it just directs me to the padi website. Very disappointing such a large company with the potential to create a very useful app came up soooooo short.

K70%
by K####:

Even without touching on the entire ecard extortion conversation, this app is disappointing. Most users just want a reliable place to log their dives and view their certs. Too much noise, unreliable performance, clunky ux. What a wasted opportunity for padi to bring their community together

K70%
by K####:

A disappointing experience, particularly the logbook. It crashes a lot, forgets data, metric and imperial units are mixed, and there's no easy way to log the fish you see on a dive. Also the social function doesn't work at all. PADI, don't treat your members as free beta testers.

K70%
by K####:

Cannot update to get my trial eCard(s). Instantly/constantly crashing (on two devices). Apparently, this has been a problem for over a year based on other reviewers. I would not mind paying $35 (or the full $45) price tag for eCards if it works.

U70%
by U####:

Mainly wanted the app to log my dives, started with trying to log my training dives and they simply don't show up in the log. Not a very intuitive app to use either. Like the others have indicated, for a company the size of this I did expect much much better. Time to delete the app...

K70%
by K####:

Having read some of the other reviews it's clear that this app is not fit for purpose. PADI you really need to sort this out, your a huge global organisation and your app is about as useful as a chocolate regulator! School children could probably design an app that's more useful than this.

K70%
by K####:

They notified me via email that my FREE ICARD is ready to download, just install this app to claim it. Then when I followed the instructions it lead me to a page which suggests that I should BUY the card at a PADI shop. Pretty bad or just simply unorganized. Eiher way, disappointing.

K70%
by K####:

As with all other reviewers I found similar problems. All dives need to be manually entered and even then the data is not retained accurately (eg weights, tank and pressure info, dive dates and times) Dive dates and times seem to be converting to non-local times. Eg My morning dive is recorded as 5pm - quite annoying. As this is a PADI product I had an expectation it would work. Very disappointed.

K70%
by K####:

I have been very excited to use this app in order to log my dives and understands where I am diabetic. Sadly after logging into the app I am unable to actually slept a dive site and put in log information for that dive site. I would expect for a company of this size to be able and ensure that an app such as this would be functional for its users.

K70%
by K####:

Terrible app. Very clunky and not fit for purpose. Just purchased an eCard which must be accessed through this app. It won't update so I cannot see it. Not sure why I can't just access this via the website, which by the way is just as bad. My advice is buy the hard copy of the card and have it physically posted to you. A total overhaul of both this app and the PADI website is needed.

O70%
by O####:

Cannot update to get my trial eCard. Idid pay for it using the Web Page ( hope they will fix this app, won't lose my money ) because the PADI app is pretty bad. I downloaded this app for the eCard function only but is useless.

Y70%
by Y####:

Shame on you for releasing an app this poorly integrated. Also if I have paid for your training, card and qualification then I would expect online access free of charge. Get with the times or risk becoming obsolete.

K70%
by K####:

Tried to use this app to access an eCard, and it can't even do that. I ordered and eCard through Padi and the only way to access that card is through this app. Followed the instructions in the email sent and the app won't retrieve my certification cards and you can't access these cards from the website. Why? I have no idea. But they are pushing this app way too hard without making sure anything works. So now I am out money and now have to reorder my card again to get a physical copy because the digital one doesn't work.

G70%
by G####:

Downloaded to get FREE ecard for a specialty course. Could not download. Tried to charge me for it. IT'S FREE PADI!!! Tried to order a new Open Water card. Filled in details then nothing happens. Wont load on mobile site. Went around in circles. For the amount of money I have spent on courses this is pretty bad!!!

This app either doesn't work or I'm clueless. A dive master on my trip recommened it because I had left my cert card at the hotel. I tried to get an ecard and was even willing to pay if it wasn't expensive. The app says go to he site and the site says go to the app. I give up and will uninstall.

Q70%
by Q####:

I wanted an E-card for my vacation to Jamaica. My card has a very old picture on it. The app does not upload my E-card. I have tried numerous ways to get it to work, installing and uninstalling. Still did not work. I wasted money on my purchase. Not worth the time and a waist of money. Very disappointed with PADI.

A70%
by A####:

App is pretty much useless. Several areas of the app do not work. Locator - shows incorrect dive sites. Shows dive sites from Asia in Arizona. Locator - Clicking on a dive site or dive shop pops up the name and then it immediately goes away. There is no way to drill into the site to view details. Social does not work at all. The app hasn't been updated since April 2016. Is anyone at PADI even managing this app?

K70%
by K####:

I am a diving Instructor and I think Padi needs to do better. I can't access pro features through the app. When I click on the link I will go to the web. I already know how to do that. The app is missing many features and has dead links. Erdpml doesn't work. eCard is too expensive even though that I paid for it.

K70%
by K####:

Won't even let me register! It accepts my name and license # but rejects my email. Based on everyone else's reviews I'm not missing out on anything anyway. Thanks for nothing, PADI.

K70%
by K####:

Crashes constantly and isn't user friendly for finding dive shops and their associated websites. It sends you to scuba earth which send you to PADI app. Ultimate do-loop.

K70%
by K####:

Horrible! Can't save my dives, it just ignores them. 40$ to get the online version of my card??? What shouldn't that be free? And usability horrible... Sad they are not able to embrace the digital world...

K70%
by K####:

Almost every section redirects to the "get the new PADI app webpage". No way to manage account details, I'm newly qualified and still waiting on my PADI card so I don't have a diver number yet, but there's no way to add it after the account is created. This could be so much more. The second star is only because I like the locator, but even that is clunky.

K70%
by K####:

I've lost my card, so I've order a new plastic card and an ecard, since I needed it asap. I've paid for it!! Well.. Once i click 'update' on the ecards section, the app crashes! Useless. Worse than that, I feel the money I spent to buy the ecard was just stolen. Update: if you have the same problem thank me, create a password without special characters. That will solve the issue

K70%
by K####:

Logging dives doesn't work as it loses dates plus other information entered. Ecard section also doesn't upload the card when hitting "update" or tries to charge you for the free card(?). Needs a lot of work.

K70%
by K####:

Random crashes, menus don't show on occasion. The very expensive Open Water Diver touch just loads the first 10 or so pages. And leaves you on a page informing you to look for resorts. Non existant help feature. Thank god for torrents.

M70%
by M####:

Downloaded the app simply to retrieve my 30 day trial ecard. As soon as I tap "update" as stated in the steps on the website and email I receive, the app crashes 100% of the time. Impossible to use for its required purpose.

Q70%
by Q####:

Very poor app for such a large company. Log function loses and changes data e.g. entry and exit times and initial and final pressure. Units for weights only in pounds. No ability to quickly enter type of dive. Update 22/09/16 Over a year on this is not fixed. Why? I cannot recommend using this app.

J70%
by J####:

The app is horribly slow, much like the web site. Also, it does not have much useful functionality. Logging dives is badly broken, and apparently not compatible with the logging on the website, since information entered on the website will actually break the display in the app. Needs much work.

M70%
by M####:

Can't log dives, fails. Can't even start to log dives in imperial, just uses metric. Dive site selection and filtering clunky at best. Really just one of the worst apps I've experienced in almost every area

M70%
by M####:

Not much of a content. How do i even log my dives. Managed to log. The saved data is inaccurate, it won't save the correct data I entered. How do i find people? It also kept crashing. Frustrating to use

W70%

I have now been trying, at various periods over the past six months, to accurately log my dives on the Scuba Earth Web site and this application. Have spent hours inputting and re-inputting information but the information just does not sync between the two and does not save when changed on this application. Am now giving up after having wasted too much time on this. Appalling and please do not waste your time on this application.

M70%

let's be honest this is plain bad... so bad. try logging a dive from a few time ago in a different country, totally impossible, really really bad app. Also why can't we access the same information online on the web. such a disappointment from the company.

Q70%
by Q####:

As apps go, when the main reason you download an app fails, it's useless. When trying to download my ecard by hitting update, the app shuts down. Needs lots of work. Update 01/06/2017 App Still fails to download ecards. App crashes upon keying update. A year later, same issues.

M70%
by M####:

I downloaded this app specifically for the eCard function. However I have found that nothing seems to work on the app! It seems to me that trying to use this app is truly a waste of time. This is very unfortunate as I had high hopes for being able to use the eCard function. In trying to use the dialogue function I found it to be totally useless also. I have looked around and have found other dive log apps that seem to do much much better than what PADI has to offer here.

Y70%
by Y####:

Only download this app so I could access my E-card. Worked for this purpose, but when I tried entering dives in the log book it never once saved a single piece of data. Repeated attempts, trying different things including filling out all the starred fields, all failed. I think maybe they are trying to force users to register for a website to store data there so they can mine data. I'm graciously assuming this might work if one registers for some corresponding website, but maybe not. Your data's not yours.

K70%
by K####:

Useless, other than the tools section. The app feels more like a bunch of Padi ads. The dive site map is hard to use. You click on a location it will display the name for <1 second. You have to go back before it will show a list of dives sites in your map view. Then it just shows the conditions, which is nice, but sure I trust it. What doesn't it show notes about the dive site?
