Nothing but a piece of crap app. Same network and remote setting is on yet it still can't find my panasonic blu ray player from 6 feet away. You would think panasonoc themselves couldn't screw this up!

N70%
by N####:

Worked just fine on my samsung galaxy proclaim, then I upgraded to the galaxy s4 and it cant find my device! And yes, my remote setting is on so it's not user error. Panasonic, you are in need of a serious update. I mean come on, last update was almost a year ago! Get your act together!

E70%
by E####:

The app like everyone else will not see my player. If I go into the remote device settings and change registration type to manual. Then go to remote device list and only enable the MAC address for my device the app sees the player. I can use the app fine till either the app or player turns off, then the app doesn't see the player anymore when I try to use again! Hurry up and fix the bugs panasonic!

I have a Verizon Galaxy Nexus running ICS 4.0.4 - this app is simply unable to find the player. My wife's iPhone and ipad on the other hand work just fine! Really disappointed... Come on Panasonic, fix it!

P70%
by P####:

Doesn't work on either device. It will find my BD210 on the Thunderbolt, but will not connect. It never finds the BD210 at all on the Samsung. Disappointing!

E70%
by E####:

App is completely useless. Phone is not able to see any device (dmp460eb). Onkyo and lg apps works without any problems on my phone so fault isn't in my phone

D70%
by D####:

App works okay, when you can actually hit the right buttons. App resolution is so out of whack, you can hardly see what's written on there.

D70%
by D####:

103 give 5 stars 130 one star. So this is no good. One reason I bought the player was the promise of a remote app. Samsung apps work. Panasonic is seriously not much good and I used to complain about Samsung. Not any more.

I70%
by I####:

Misplaced my normal remote and downloaded this as a fix. Selected N. America as a locale and it can't find the player. As v1.0.1 looks to be the most up-to-date, doesn't look like the app is getting any support. To the trash can with you!

D70%
by D####:

Always has worked on my different android devices. My problem is the hardware its self and vulnerabilities to Mirai, after the recent attacks using IOT devices My Panasonic bluray player does not have any type of security.

D70%
by D####:

Connects fine but it looks like someone spent about 5 minutes making this app and called it good. Keyboard input also doesn't work in Netflix which is the only thing that might have made this worth using. Swiping to get cursor to move works about 10% of the time.

D70%
by D####:

App randomly disrupts player's wifi connection. The only way to get it back is a power cycle. Annoying...

H70%
by H####:

A big corporation like Panasonic can't even develop an app that would work for its own devices? What a lousy corporation! The app asks for a specific region then fails to locate the appropriate device! The should fire the idiots who wrote this app! Failed from the start!

D70%
by D####:

App connects and recognizes bdt320, but does not function. Swiping and direct menu buttons do nothing. Am I missing something?

D70%
by D####:

Seems like everything works good but after about 15 minutes my player randomly turns off. Anyone else run into this problem. 220 to s3

D70%
by D####:

What's the point of making a remote if it cannot even find the device? I am even able to find it with other non-related apps! One word: disappointing

D70%
by D####:

Buttons on the controller are very tiny and all over the place. Samsung GS4. Please optimize for higher resolutions.

D70%
by D####:

This used to be a very helpful app. Since the stock remote control has no keypad. Now the app remote has small little keys and its practically useless. Keys no longer showing. Please update your app.

Galaxy S2 and BDT120. I can confirm that this combination does does not written. The iPad in my other hands does. Will not be trying the wireless dongle for this machine because of this. I am a network engineer so I know I have the settings right.

D70%
by D####:

I upgraded to 5.1 now it won't power off and the player requires manual on and off of the player for the application to recognize it. I'm not sure that Panasonic is staying up to date on this application. Too bad, or was nice.

D70%
by D####:

I have a Panasonic DMP-BDT220 and a Bionic- this ap doesn't work for me. it can't acquire the signal

D70%
by D####:

Awesome app, no dramas at all to set up. There can be a lag so I use this for the basic stuff and use the proper remote for internet stuff. Fix the lag and 5 stars it is

L70%
by L####:

I'm running ICS 4.0.4. Although everything was set up correctly (my phone showed up in the remote device list on the player and remote device operation was turned on) phone (Droid Razr Maxx) could not find the player. Called Panasonic support and was told the app only supports Android 2.2 and 2.3 devices, with no info on whether newer operating system support would ever be available. So, Panasonic if you're listening. how about support for ICS and Jelly Bean.

D70%
by D####:

On the Blue-Ray Player 1) Setup 2) Player Settings 3) Network 4) Network Settings 5) LAN Connection Mode => Wireless ( cannot be wired! ) 6) Remote Device Settings 7) Remote Device Operation => On 8) Registration Type => Auto ( this worked for me on Auto or Manual ) On Android 1) Connect to the same Wifi Network ( same wireless network name ) 2) Run search 3) Click on your blue ray player 4) Click More 5) Click Controller ( to see the remote on your Android ) That is all I did to get it to work, hope this helps others.

P70%
by P####:

My BluRay player (220) doesn't see my phone, and my phone doesn't see the player. All my MAC addresses are listed except the phone. No ICS support? Seriously? Boo, Panasonic, Boo. Even my Onkyo receiver works, come on!

J70%
by J####:

Pretty sad when you can't get a brand app to work with the brand of blu Ray player. I am connected to my WiFi and it has no other options to connect.

Y70%
by Y####:

Cannot be used with 2013 models. (Bdt230) Really? Hey it's August 2013 now! Will never ever buy anything from panasonic again. Make yourself a favour and buy a decent Sony blu ray player!

Y70%
by Y####:

Heck I thought Panasonic is very good company but it's not it's just an cd player not smart Blueray player. They not even provide after sales service also and support apps like Sony, LG, Samsung company provides. Kindly don't buy new technology Panasonic products they are just bullshits.

S70%
by S####:

Have a brand new DMPBD91 bought specifically for use with this app. Set up is strictly in accordance with instructions. WILL NOT RECOGNIZE BRAND NEW STATE OF ART PLAYER. You guys are not interested in putting out an app that WORKS???? I have stayed with Panasonic for years and this my fourth and LAST blu ray from you guys!! Please Google, review these apps before allowing distribution on the store site. This is an embarrasment to Panasonic and to Google as well.

Didnot work on jellybean. Cannot dectect my player bdt 220. I →♡ panasonic :-X

C70%

Does not work with BDT360. Pocket Blu does but only for some movies. Get up to date Panasonic.

C70%
by C####:

I was expecting a smooth interface, which it has, but after almost 30 minutes it still wouldn't connect to my BDT-220P blu-ray player

N70%
by N####:

Works perfectly after the last update. I just wish i could use the keyboard when searching movies on Netflix.

C70%

No issues for my galaxy S3. Connected the Panasonic bdt321p to my wifi, updated the unit. Installed app on phone and now i have a phonimote. The phonimote has more functions than the stock remote fyi.

Y70%
by Y####:

I set the bdt-220 to allow remote connection, and followed all the setup instructions, but nothing. Simply doesn't connect

C70%
by C####:

My old HTC Desire works no problems, just remember to go into the network settings menu in the player settings menu and turn on Remote Device. I'm thinking a few Muppets haven't done this.

C70%
by C####:

I tried several times to use this app, hoping maybe it would let me do things my remote cannot, such as typing searches in my DMP-BDT210P player's YouTube app, but it never even detected my player.

C70%
by C####:

STOPPED WORKING AFTER UPDATE - CAN NOT FIND MY DVD PLAYER ! It was great when it worked but has failed. Old : A. it actually works, B. it practically set itself up. C. it's very intuitive. D. It has all the features of the standard controller. E. it does all the extra little things that you think that it could do being ran on an Android like using the Android keyboard. It is much easier to type with than the stock remote. I am very picky about my apps, and rarely rate anything this high. I am impressed.

I70%
by I####:

The remote could benefit from a canon eos type feature, where we can see the video output on the smartphone, and functionnality is using all the capabilities of a smartphone. It is not just a clumsy replica of the bulky remote.
