Poweramp Wear Controller for Android
This app helped me browse around my library without always opening the phone which is really good. I have given it 4 stars as the first look and use was superb..... With further evaluation I might increase or decrease the number of stars but the previous reviews are also all promising
App looks great, but it doesn't appear to work at all on my wear 2.0 device - there is no service running and I just have the standard music controls. Will change my review if an update fixes this. EDIT: Looks like apps have to be installed via Google play on the watch first (and not just on the phone). Have amended score.
not working on huawei watch w1 and huawei p10
ThnX super aap
EDIT: apparently just unaware of how Wear 2.0 works. The app works like a charm
4 stars for now. Like the app so far. Just installed a day ago. I will see the battery consumption and the give my final verdict. Request to developer: Can you add the playlists.
Very useful app! There however IS an option in poweramp (at least in the alpha build) called "Always Process Album Art" where it always broadcasts the album art even with the screen off.
Review for previous version: Using this app on my watch turns on my phone's screen when I open it or use it. That's the only issue. I would like a volume control to be added. Otherwise it's a great app. Fix the "phone screen on when watch app is used" issue and add a volume control and I'll be happy to donate and even share the app on my YouTube channel... Added note: June 13, 2017 Thank you so much for adding the volume controls in the last update. I love this app 100% now. YouTube showcase time.
Love this app! Long time Poweramp user and this is the perfect companion app for Android wear. My only request would be an option to see album art by itself when playing music. Currently using Music Boss to achieve this, but adding this view would eliminate the need for two apps.
I like where this app is going but the developer needs to fix a few things before it's amazing. Everytime I changed a song the device that I'm connected to would turn on. When pressing buttons there is no way to tell if your pressing it.

I like the app so far, but I have encountered a glitch which causes a second layer of the icons to appear in the main menu. This causes the two layers to overlap, decreasing visibility. I hope a fix for this comes out soon. I would also like it if I could select from playlists, as it gives a lot more choice for the user. I look forward to seeing any improvements you might bring to the app from now on.
