Pharos Sentry Print

Pharos Sentry Print makes it easy for businesses of all sizes to secure their office printing environment, ensure document confidentiality, and significantly reduce print waste and costs.

In a Beacon Sentry Print environment, employees walk up to their chosen printer and use their mobile phone to authenticate and print their documents. This simple workflow ensures that the document owner is present at the device when it’s printed. This prevents sensitive information from being left unattended on printer output trays.

Beacon Sentry Print also improves convenience for employees by allowing them to release their documents at any secured printer on their network. It’s a cloud solution, so there’s no need to configure and maintain print servers and drivers.

Note: This application requires a Pharos Beacon Sentry Print account. If your organization uses Pharos Beacon Sentry Print, please contact your IT administrator for more information.

How to use this app:

1) Register the app using the Pharos Beacon Sentry Print Setup Guide provide by your organization.

2) Print as you normally do from your workstation.

3) Open the Pharos Sentry Print app.

4) Walk up to any Pharos-secured printer and scan the bar code on the printer.

5) Your document(s) will print immediately.
