PlayPals -Tabletop Game Events

Great concept! This App is in a Beta stage I think, but with just a few tweaks I could see this as an app that I would use on a regular basis. I am looking forward to future releases and right now the app is quite usable. Five stars all the way (hopefully)!

Even though it has not launched in my area, which I didn't know when I downloaded it, the creators got back to my email within a few hours of me sending it to fund out why it wasn't working! That's how you have a good app! Thanks guys and can't wait to hear from you again about it launching in my area!

Great idea for an app! Tons of potential but the distance filter is a little too restrictive, 20 miles is too short a distance.

I love the idea of this game, and am giving it 5 stars in the hopes that it helps this app take off. I do have some qualms, though. The UI really badly needs an overhaul. The symbols for the game (on the map) are much too big and overlap pretty much everything if you zoom out far enough. I'm having a hard time logging in through Facebook, as every time I click it, there's a slight flash of black and then nothing changes. I hope it doesn't sound like I'm being too harsh because this is such a great idea and I'd love to see it explode in popularity. Board games are made to bring people together and you're making that happen!

Has potential, needs lots of work. Crashes often on my Nexus 6P, and really should be able to link to your BGG account. FYI, this also apparently isn't working in my area yet.

I'm not sure if this is in Beta but regardless this is a great concept especially for a person like me! I'm always looking for a regular group to game with! ☺

Almost perfect idea. It needs a feature to allow players to 'express interest'... that way hosts will know if their events have the players available to be a possible success before posting.

Does not load. App gives a spinning wheel of death. If I click any icon it asks me to turn location on (location is turned on). In settings for the app all permissions were granted but when I tried turning location permissions off&on again Android warns the app was designed for an earlier version of Android so adjusting permissions for it could break things. Don't use this app on Android 7.1.1

Multiple events at the same location hide each other on the map. Please add Pathfinder as an roleplaying option. Current there are not enough users to rate properly, i'll adjust my rating after some use.

Great idea for budding board game enthusiasts as well those with experience. Is there a way to sign in WITHOUT using Facebook?

Can not login with multiple devices from the same Facebook account. Says account is already in use every time. Also not having a bug report feature in app is disappointing.

I love the idea of this app, but I'm unwilling to use it while the app asks for a ton of permissions it doesn't have a clear reason for requesting. When asked about this, the person from the app said that this was something they intended to fix. That was a few weeks ago. If they make those changes, I'd be glad to use the app. Until they do, I'm not comfortable installing it. Especially when I don't have a clear idea of their business model/revenue stream.
