Dichterwege - Jean Paul

Jean Paul, eigentlich Johann Paul Friedrich Richter (1763-1825), gilt als einzigartige Gestalt der deutschen Literaturgeschichte. Sein umfassendes Werk bildet einen Gegenentwurf zur Weimarer Klassik wie zu den Romantikern. Bis heute gilt er zahlreichen Schriftstellern und Künstlern als Inspirationsquelle wie Vorbild.

Der 250. Geburtstag von Jean Paul im März 2013 bildete den Anlass für die Bayerische Staatsbibliothek und die Bayerische Sparkassenstiftung, diesen Autor auf neue Weise zu präsentieren. Kooperationpartner waren das Verbundprojekt Jean-Paul-Weg in Oberfranken und der Verein Jean Paul 2013.

Die App bietet eine Vielzahl von Möglichkeiten, Jean Paul zu entdecken und sich näher mit ihm zu beschäftigen. Da er ein leidenschaftlicher Wanderer war und ausgiebig seine oberfränkische Heimat erkundete, wurde die App als Location-Based-Services-Applikation gestaltet und kann als digitaler Wanderführer auf Jean Pauls Spuren eingesetzt werden. Beschreibungen, Bilder, Audios und Videos zu Jean Pauls Leben, den Personen in seinem Umfeld sowie Zitate aus seinen Werken führen den Nutzer in die Welt dieses Dichters. Jean Paul, actually Johann Paul Friedrich Richter (1763-1825), is considered as a unique figure in German literary history. His extensive work forms a counter-proposal to as Weimar Classicism to the romantics. Until today, he is numerous writers and artists as inspiration as a role model.

The 250th Birthday of Jean Paul in March 2013 was the occasion for the Bavarian State Library and the Bavarian Savings Banks Foundation to present this author in new ways. Cooperation partners were the joint project Jean-Paul Lane in Upper Franconia and the club Jean Paul, 2013.

The app offers a variety of ways, Jean Paul to discover and a closer look at him. Since he was an avid hiker and extensively explored his home in Upper Franconia, the app was designed as a location-based services application and can be used as a digital guide to Jean Paul's tracks. Descriptions, images, audios and videos about Jean Paul's life, the people around him as well as quotations from his works take the user into the world of this poet.
