Polarsteps - Travel Tracker

Have been using the app for about 4 weeks across multiple platforms - phones and tablets an both ios and android. Sync function has struggled a few times but is most likely due to poor internet connections. Functionality is great and there are clearly opportunities to continue to improve the app eg allow othets to post comments, support for verticle and horizontal device orientation etc.

Great product, very good app! There are a few minor things like synchronization between PC and phone, uploading errors with photos and automatic tracking. If these things would be solved, it would receive 5 stars.

I wanted something like the little dotted line from Family Circus cartoons that follows the kid as he runs around. This is pretty much exactly that, and it's totally awesome.

Never reviewed an App before, but I LOVE this one. Does just what I need to do and helps friends keep up with our holiday. Not everyone is a Facebook fan!

No way to edit your path. I've been traveling through Iceland and my path is either missing areas completely or is showing me flying. Makes no sense. Very disappointed

Really happy with this app! Currently using it while travelling and it includes all needs i require to document my travels while also sharing them with family and friends at home! Only down side is that you can only add photos and not videos but other than that i have recommended it to many friends who are all very happy aswell! 5 stars!

I am disappointed about this app. Just came back from my trip hoping I could rearrange my pics, add new ones and get rid off steps related to little towns visited. What a pain! First off, you need to edit the trip to add pics. It'd be intuitive to enable it without having to go to the setting of the trip. You can't add new photos when the trip is complete. I tried to fool the app to change the dates so I can add more pics but it doesn't let me add them anyways. I spent so much time trying to fix my trips. I'm going back to Google photos and create albums there. One may say that's not the intent of this app to go back and add more pics. Well, when you're on vacation, you don't want to bother about publishing pics on polarsteps. Moreover, some places don't have WiFi and if they do, it takes forever to upload pics that are normally taken in high resolution. Not to mention the fact that you don't want to have the location i.e. GPS on your phone turned on all the time just to track wherever you go.

Great app, there are some small issues with the travel tracker, but it really tells the story when one is on a long trip. Tip, use your gps frequently during the day to accurately follow your route.

I haven't tried booking flights or renting a car but review from other travelers it helps to increase that interest to get that service or product. Now, so far i would love this application as a digital diary but i am hoping if you have premium services to improve this tracker it could go a long as a media platform. Well, as long as there is fast internet wherever i go but that's the catch if runs slows on tracking gps hehehe but good job and will try my very best to use my account

This app is amazing. I am in the middle of journey and I love tracking my steps. It even tracks the small cities that otherwise might be missed. Nice app and keep up the good work.

Using this app on our world trip I'd so useful. Just to look back and in m the people back home of our location

Great visual way to track and record your travels. Only thing missing I would say would be a way of commenting on specific photos.

Excellent tour tracker. Used for 5 weeks in Europe. Worked really well and was easy to use. Great memories. Family enjoyed being able to track our trip.

Amazing app!! Exactly what I've been searching for for ages! Cross platform compatibility is great and works really well. Only improvement would be if I could link a trip with someone I am travelling with to make a joint travel

Unable to use the app. I can only add trips but none of the trips get pinned on the map. There's no help section either.

don't know if this is intended to be a multi-day tracker or what but when i start and finish a trip on the same day im getting a "start date cannot be before end date" error

Would be great if there is an import function to import past trips from the Google Maps Timeline

This app made traveling fun and was a neat easy to organize my pictures and show the progression to someone else. Certainly worth a look - try it out!

Nice application to help you writing a journal. Mark the spots you like to add something, and add immediately or later. Personally I like the 'later', allowing you to move in fast and spend time on details later.

Exactly what I have been looking for to capture photos and marked location of my travels. Only downside is the synchronization has been always down even I have good Internet

This is a great way to record all travels across the world. When connected to the internet, Polarsteps automatically suggests trips to add.

It makes it very easy to keep track on your travels, uploading pictures and writing a brief description of what you did in each place.

Great app for tracking your adventures, from weekend getaway to international expedition! Love it. And the prompts to log your activities are useful.

A great app for logging your travels and photos. Only downside is that it really chews the phone battery.
