Based on the Pomodoro Technique is a time management method developed by Francesco Cirillo in the late 1980s. The technique uses a timer to break down periods of work into 25-minute intervals called "pomodori" (from the Italian word pomodoro for "tomato").
There are five basic steps to implementing the technique:
- decide on the task to be done on the TODO tab
- select the task and start a pomodoro.
- work on the task until the timer rings; application will record it for you.
- take a short break (3-5 minutes)
- every four "pomodori" take a longer break (15–30 minutes)
Based on the simple GTD task organization, this application is using the todo.txt file format sync with Dropbox.

First, great start of this pomodoro application. Very promising but there is one drawback for dropbox sync in this application. When you start this application and link with dropbox, a new folder is being created in dropbox under the default apps folder: pomodorotxt. This means that an already created todo.txt file that are normally stored in the dropbox "todo" root folder by other task applications will not be recognized. Developer, please allow your application to verify if a todo.txt file in the todo folder already exist and if so use that file/folder structure instead. I don't like to retype my numerous tasks in your application or copy and past the existing todo.txt file manually to your pomodorotext folder every day. Don't get me wrong, your application can become an awesome app. I see on the developer's site that other features are in the pipeline. Tracking internal and external interruptions would be great to add in this application.

Nice to be able to link/sync with todo.txt file in DropBox, but frustrated there is no landscape mode for tablets.

Quelques recommandations: -l'historique devrait prendre en compte la durée des tomates; -il serait bien de pouvoir modifier les paramètres de durée; -les notifications devraient être "cliquables" pour permettre d'accéder a l'application rapidement. -l'application devrait être compatible avec le mode horizontal pour les tablettes. Merci, cette app a beaucoup de potentiel.

Great, with the option to for pomodoro length of 10,25 or 45 min, and backup of history in Dropbox txt file. The UI could follow Android guidelines more, but for the rest it's perfect. [Updated 14/09/13] Works well and is good looking as a Pomodoro app, very promising. Well-rounded - offers good History features, which are hard to find in other Pomodoro apps. But, would love to be able to change Pomodoro duration to something other than 25 min.
