About DRADIS
DRADIS is a widget which, at the push of a button, sends your location via SMS to a chosen contact.
It is useful as a panic button, since it removes the hassle of sharing your location via WhatsApp and the like. Just press the button on your homescreen widget and your location is known! It is also useful for letting your loved ones know you are ok while on the road, letting a friend know where you are at a busy concert, keeping track of your children, or popping off a message indicating whether you have safely arrived at your destination or not.
Why SMS? Because SMS works as long as you have mobile signal. None of these EDGE/G4/GPRS shenanigans!

Love this app idea... Tons of room for growth. Some feature requests for the future: 1. Whatsapp integration, 2. Message customization, 3. Setting up I.C.E. groups (so that emergency contacts can be notified easily), 4. Setting up groups of contacts to notify (instead of one at a time), 5. (this is a big one) Uber like viewing of my travel.. So instead of messaging on intervals, you can view my trip on a map like you do when you're waiting for an Uber ride.
