In the good old days when you were lucky enough to get a survey on your receipt, you would get a code for a free dessert. Now with the app it says to complete a survey for free food. But once you finish the survey there is no code or instructions on how to claim the free food. It doesn't even tell you what the free food is. Our location is great so I like filling out the survey. But if you're going to entice people to fill it out, then you should give them what you said you would.

Seriously why do we need an app now for every store we shop at or restaurant we go to? I'm tired of businesses assuming we want apps. The old reward system with cards worked just fine and was awesome. Now we have to have 1 more app to get rewards.

Thank you for the help. I switched phones and downloaded the app to my new phone. Then I couldn't login. It said it didn't recognize my email, even through they would send me emails. The IT support reached out to me and we got it fixed. Love the app. Thanks again.

For the functionality the app provides (menu, info, order taking, points) it takes up way too much space. 25+Mb is ridiculous, you do not need the hi-def pictures of burritos to function. Aim for 5Mb app size or less and I'll give you guys a positive review. Your app is on a mobile platform, so design it for one. Additionally the amount of permissions required by the app is frightening, and the rewards you get back for using it are minimal. This is to say nothing of the bugs. Get your crap together.

I hate this app. You have to be in range of the store to earn points, and it tells you your receipt is old after like 2 days.

The app is good, but really - the Richland WA Queensgate location is outstanding in both quality and service and they're why I got this app. Everybody knows, too, good food makes a punchcard app tastier.

Installed app, signed up for account, barcode would not scan because the receipt print quality was poor, I can't even read the numbers to enter them manually. Camera is upside down for Nexus 5x too. It would be much better if I presented a barcode when I bought my food. Who wants to install an app for individual restaurants anyway?

Dropped rewards from 10% to 8%. Their service is so/so, and their serving sizes keep getting smaller. I like the food so I keep coming back, and the idea of an app is okay with me, but do it at a competitive rewards value. Goodness! EDIT: DROPPED THE APP TO 1 STAR, THEIR REWARDS EXPIRE WITHIN WEEKS. USELESS AND POOR BUSNIESS EXPERIENCE. And the employees think that 8% back is higher than 10% back. Uneducated on their new system. Ridiculous.

This review is for app permissions, not usability(used it once). The list of permissions is out of this world!!!! Prevent device from sleeping? run at startup? No way Jose. I installed it, got my 4 bucks and uninstalling....

I ordered and paid for my food using this app and... it doesn't apply the points?? AND they can't print a receipt for you to add the points. Take away the points system until you actually figure it out! Ridiculous! Major work needed.

The new version won't recognize the receipts. I either get the error saying the receipt is too old or the error saying the customer is not within the range of Costa Vida location. Please revert the latest changes so we can use it again

I tried multiple times to add my barcode but I could not get it to scan for the life of me. I tried manually 3 times and every time (not even in the same day) it said there was an issue loading my purchase and it would update automatically when it found it. 1 week later and still nothing. Considering how many permissions this needs, and how I've lost a perfectly fine rewards program, I'd rather just give my money away to Cafe Rio. Gotta uninstall now.

I like Costa vida's food but this app and rewards program needs work. You basically have to spend at least $50 to get $4 in rewards. That's a low estimate considering the fact that the rewards seem to round down the dollars you actually spend. That's hardly a reward at all considering how high prices are to begin with. The app also doesn't allow you to scan multiple receipts in a visit. What a stupid oversight! You mean to tell me you aren't going to reward my loyalty when I eat and then go back for more!?

I don't know why you would restrict one scan per an hour. What if my friend didn't use the app. Worst app ever. Don't even know why you need all my information too.

For an app touting a twitter post with the hashtag #skiptheline after ordering online, it's amazing that they wait to make your order until you arrive in-store anyway.

It is poor customer service to expect the guest to load their rewards onto an account. Do you offer alternative for guests without a smart phone? Companies make money selling data and the customer does the work.

I think the new app ia great and everything but the rewards are ridiculous. What ever happened to the good rewards? Back in the day you would get a free burrito with about 4 purchase. Greedy people.

1) Didn't enter receipt right away, points denied a week later for entering too late; 2) Bought and ate dinner, entered receipt, bought additional dinners to go, receipt rejected because of same day purchase. What is the point? I think I'll start going to Cafe Rio.

I downloaded it and it worked just fine, but I have a MAJOR complaint! It wouldn't let me scan my receipt because it said it was expired! The receipt was from 3 days ago!!! It's not old at all!!! I go to Costa Vidas all the time. Why can't we go back to the card system!!! This is sooo stupid!!!

Seems like a way to not give out as much rewards for frequent buyers, I end up throwing away the receipt and forgetting

Right now the app won't let me put in my receipt and apparently I only have 2 days to do it. It's already been a day. How do I get it in?

I love that the rewards can be on my phone instead of the card now. I would like to have the app store my free item for taking the survey, that way I don't have to worry about losing the receipt.
