Riyadhus Shalihinmerupakan Kitab Kumpulan Kadis dari Rasulullah Saw. Kitab ini disusun oleh al-Imam al-Allamah Abu Zakaria Muhyiddin bin Syaraf an-Nawawi ad-Dimasyqi, atau lebih dikenal dengan sebutan Imam Nawawi. Seorang Ulama besar Ahli Hadis yang diakui seluruh Ulama Islam dari masa ke masa.

Kitab Riyadhus Shalihin berisikan Hadis-hadis, yang diambil dari Kitab-Kitab hadis terkenal seperti Bukhari, Muslim, Tirmidzi, Abu Daud, Ibnu Majah, An-Nasa’i, dan Ahmad. Imam Nawawi sendiri telah bertekad untuk menghindari Hadis-hadis yang menurutnya Dhaif.

Riyadhus Shalihin Salah satu Kitab yang menjadi rujukan kaum muslimin, mulai dari Ahli Ilmu hingga orang awam, para pemuka Tasawuf hingga Ahli Hadis, para ustadz hingga orang-orang yang sekedar ingin mengutip karena banyaknya manfaat di dalamnya.

Kitab Riyadhus Shalihin ini adalah Kitab Tarbiyah (pembinaan) yang baik yang menyentuh aneka ragam aspek kehidupan individual (pribadi) dan sosial kemasyarakatan dengan uslub (cara pemaparan) yang mudah lagi jelas yang dapat dipahami oleh orang khusus dan awam.

Imam Nawawi memberikan Keistimewaan dalam tertib dan pembuatan bab pembahasan. Beliau membaginya menjadi beberapa Kitab, dan kitab-kitab ini dibagi menjadi beberapa bab, lalu menjadikan Kitab sebagai Judul bagi Hadis-hadis yang ada di dalam bab-bab yang banyak dari satu jenis, dan menjadikan bab sebagai judul bagi sekelompok Hadis yang menunjukkan satu permasalahan khusus.
